Arcane Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Arcane build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Arcane is a 6-star Arts Unit Caster Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Nature element.

Arcane's Best Weapons

1.

Intellect-Focused Arts Units

Type 42: Solemn Phalanx
  • Intellect Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
  • Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost [L] +46.43% (9/9)

Detonate: Debilitating Assault:
ATK +25.6%. Wielder's Intellect ≥ Will: When the wielder applies Arts Infliction with their own skill, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +32% for 20s; when the wielder applies Arts Susceptibility with their own skill, the wielder gains ATK +32% for 20s; Wielder's Will > Intellect: When the wielder applies Arts Burst with their own skill, the target enemy suffers Arts DMG Taken +9.6% for 25s; when the wielder applies Arts Susceptibility with their own skill, the target enemy suffers Arts DMG Taken +9.6% for 25s. Effects of the same name cannot stack. The aforementioned attributes only include effects from the wielder's level, talents, potentials, and attribute bonuses provided by equipped gear and weapons.
Arcane's Signature Weapon. This weapon will toggle its behavior alongside Arcane's Array Arcana. She'll gain Arts DMG Dealt and ATK for using this weapon while in Array Arcana: INT, as long as you play her rotation as intended. However, while in Array Arcana: WILL, she'll instead apply Arts DMG Taken to the enemy for her team to exploit, whenever she uses her Yinglung Stance IV.
Junction Point
  • Intellect Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
  • Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost [L] +46.43% (9/9)

Efficacy: Feedback Loop:
Nature DMG Dealt +11.2%. When the wielder applies Arts Susceptibility or Arts Infliction with a combo skill, the wielder gains ATK +9.6% while other operators in the team gain ATK +2.4%. Duration: 20s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately.
Arcane's Protocol Pass weapon. This weapon tries to combine both effects of her signature into one, but at a lower power level. Any time Arcane uses her Yinglung Stance IV, she'll gain a ATK buff while granting her team a smaller ATK buff. This effect can stack up to 2 times, and it has a longer duration than her Yinglung Stance IV cooldown, so building 2 stacks and keeping permanent uptime with it is no issue.
Detonation Unit
  • Main Attribute Boost [L] +132.0 (9/9)
  • Arts Intensity Boost [L] +78.0 (9/9)

Detonate: Imposing Champion:
Secondary Attribute +16%. When the wielder applies an Arts Burst, target enemy suffers Arts DMG Taken +14.4% for 15s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
A "Main Attribute" scaling 6* weapon. Due to Arcane's Array Arcana mechanics, balancing stat distributions becomes the name of the game for buildcrafting. This weapon will offer less Intellect than other 6* Intellect focused weapons, and grants compatible effects for Arcane to derive bonus damage from.
Stanza of Memorials
  • Intellect Boost [M] +124.0 (9/9)
  • ATK Boost [M] +31.2% (9/9)

Twilight: Lustrous Pyre:
Max HP +28%. When the wielder casts an ultimate, operators whose elements differ from the wielder gain ATK +22.4% for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Since Arcane is always meant to be an off-element member for any given team, this weapons will give the rest of the team an Attack boost whenever she casts Gloompurge.
Hypernova Auto
  • Intellect Boost [S] +93.0 (9/9)
  • Arts Boost [S] +26.0% (9/9)

Inspiring: Start of a Saga:
When the wielder's HP is above 80%, ATK +42%.
A starter weapon for Arcane.
2.

Will-Focused Arts Units

Opus: Etch Figure
  • Will Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
  • Nature DMG Boost [L] +43.33% (9/9)

Suppression: Tillite Etchings:
ATK +11.2%. When the wielder's battle skill applies Nature Infliction, other operators in the team gain Arts DMG Dealt +8% for 15s. For every enemy suffering from Nature Infliction applied by the said battle skill, other operators in the team gain bonus Arts DMG Dealt +3.2%, up to a max of +9.6%. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
While this is Gilberta's Protocol Pass weapon, the effects of this weapon works almost perfectly with Arcane, granting the team Arts DMG Dealt bonuses when applying Nature Inflictions with her Jadecrushing Grid.
Monaihe
  • Will Boost [M] +124.0 (9/9)
  • Ultimate Gain Efficiency Boost [M] +37.14% (9/9)

Inspiring: Mortise-and-Tenon Analysis:
Main Attribute +14%. Arts Intensity +70.
This weapon is simply a good stat stick for Arcane to use during Array Arcana: WILL.
Fluorescent Roc
  • Will Boost [S] +93.0 (9/9)
  • ATK Boost [S] +23.4% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost:
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
A starter weapon for Arcane.

Arcane's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the weapon effects of your Arcane. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

A powerful support set for playing Arcane as more of a support. Applying Arts Susceptibility with her Yinglung Stance IV will trigger the set effect of granting the whole team a DMG Dealt Bonus.

Leveling Gear for Arcane

While the above gear sets are the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Since the Intellect > Will gear options are better supported that Will > Intellect during the leveling process, we will recommend using her in Array Arcana: INT until you're ready to build her for endgame.

Mordvolt Insulation
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Intellect +50. When the wearer's HP is above 80%, Arts DMG +20%.
Arcane's final gearset for Chapter 1 before unlocking endgame gear.

Arcane's Skill Priority

5.

Array Arcana: INT

Skill Priority: Jadecrushing Grid > Yinglung Stance IV = Gloompurge > Artillery Interdiction
6.

Array Arcana: WILL

Skill Priority: Yinglung Stance IV > Jadecrushing Grid = Gloompurge > Artillery Interdiction

For the first time, we have an Operator whose kit is modified at the buildcrafting stage based on how her stats are assigned. This system is called Array Arcana. Whenever Arcane has more Intellect than Will, she is set to Array Arcana: INT. In this mode, she first and foremost favors the output of her Battle Skill. Whenever Arcane has more Will than Intellect, she is set to Array Arcana: WILL. In this mode, she places far more weight on the utility provided by her Combo Skill.

Either way, all four of her skills play heavily into how she plays, so don't neglect any of them!

How to Play Arcane

Arcane plays differently depending on which Array Arcana she is set to.

During Array Arcana: INT, Arcane is trying to play forward as your Main DPS. Fire off a Jadecrushing Grid to apply Nature Infliction to the enemy, and deal big damage. The Nature Infliction will trigger her Yinglung Stance IV combo skill. This will apply Nature and Cryo Susceptibility debuffs to enemies. While this stance is active, Jadecrushing Grid will deal additional damage, on top of the Nature Burst and Nature Susceptibility debuff that will be in effect. Doing this combo within the damage field of her Gloompurge ultimate will take advantage of Corrosion debuffs to do even more damage!

During Array Arcana: WILL, Arcane is instead trying to play back as a Support DPS. Depending on which Arts Infliction you're trying to quickly build stacks of, have an appropriate operator apply the initial Arts Infliction. This will trigger her Yinglung Stance IV combo skill, applying a 2nd stack of that Arts Infliction to the target, and spreading that stack to enemies within range, who are also Pulled In to the target. From here, you can activate the Gloompurge ultimate to apply yet another stack of that Arts Infliction to all enemies within range. Very quickly and cheaply, you've gained 3 stacks of any Arts Infliction of your choice with minimal resource costs. Have your other operators consume these Arts Inflictions to their taste.
