Welcome to our Typhoeus build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Typhoeus is a 6-star Arts Unit Striker Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Nature element.

Typhoeus's Best Weapons

Umbra of Frigid Eventide

• Agility [L] +156.0 (9/9)
• ATK [L] +39.0% (9/9)

Detonate: Hunter Instinct:
Arts DMG Dealt +25.6%. After the wielder casts a battle skill, the wielder gains Arts Intensity +56 and 4 stacks of Windform for 15s. This entire effect cannot stack. Max Windform stacks: 4. When the wielder applies an Arts Burst, consume 1 stack of Windform to grant the wielder Arts DMG Dealt +6.4% for 30s. This effect can reach 4 stacks. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

Suffering's End

• Nature DMG [L] +43.33% (9/9)

Detonate: Dawn of the Long Night:
Arts Intensity +24. When the wielder applies an Arts Burst, the wielder gains Nature DMG Dealt +3.2% for 25s. Max stacks for this effect: 4. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s. At 4 stacks, the aforementioned effect grants an additional Nature DMG Dealt +9.6%. This effect cannot stack.

Typhoeus's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the weapon effects of your Typhoeus. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

• Umbra of Frigid Eventide: Agility, ATK, and Detonate, farmable in The Hub, Wuling City, Sword Vault Dale, Yinglung Pass, and Snowy Forest.
• Suffering's End: Agility, Nature DMG, and Detonate, farmable in The Hub, Originium Lodespring, Sword Vault Dale and Yinglung Pass.
• Monaihe: Will Boost, Ultimate Gain Efficiency, and Inspiring, farmable in The Hub and Wuling City.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet. A simple +1/+1/+1 Essence for a temporary weapon like Suffering's End will be good enough until you can get your hands on Typhoeus's Umbra of Frigid Eventide.

Best Gear for Typhoeus

Deep Rampart

3-piece set effect: Wearer's Arts DMG Dealt +16%. When the wearer applies Nature Burst or Cryo Burst, the wearer gains Arts Intensity +16 for 20s. Max stacks for this effect: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

AIC Fieldwork

3-piece set effect: Wearer gains DMG Dealt +20% for all types of DMG, 10% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG, and Ultimate Gain Efficiency +10%.

Typhoeus's Skill Priority

We recommend improving her battle skill as the main priority, followed closely behind by her Basic attack for regular damage. The reasoning behind this is that although a large chunk of DMG you will deal with Typhoeus will naturally come from using her Basic attacks, the Battle Skill is where her kit truly shines and many of her damage multipliers get raised with her Battle Skill!

As long as the enemy has Nature Infliction stacks on them, each shot she fires consumes a stack to cause a Nature DMG burst, providing a Sign stack as well as additional ultimate energy. When she triggers her Combo, which can only activate when she reaches maximum stacks of Sign she converts the stacks into Hunting Arrows allowing her to remain airborne and keep dishing out the DMG. Her ultimate, although lowest priority, should not be ignored as it also provides more Hunting Arrows, allowing her to remain airborne longer.

How to Play Typhoeus

With Typhoeus you will want to apply Nature Infliction first, either by using Arcane, Fluorite, or Ardelia depending on the Operators you have available. Once the stack is up, you'll want to use Typhoeus's battle skill immediately. This will make Typhoeus go airborne, at which point you will start firing arrows into the enemy, steadily gaining stacks of Sign. Once they are maxed out you would trigger her combo, allowing you to remain airborne for even longer, while slowly charging up your ultimate! If the enemy is somehow still alive after all of this, just finish them off with her Ultimate! Typhoeus is a fun Nature AoE nuker, which we personally look forward to testing further!
