Snowshine Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Snowshine build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Snowshine is a 5-star Great Sword Defender Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Cryo element.

In our Snowshine guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Snowshine, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Snowshine's Best Weapons

Finishing Call
  • Strength +124 (9/9)
  • HP +62.4% (9/9)

Medicant: Glory of Knighthood (9/9):
Secondary Attribute +14%.
Combo skill HP treatment effect +56%.
Not only is this a free-to-play option, since we were all givne this weapon as a prelaunch campign reward, but the Finishing Call is also arguably Snowshine's best in slot weapon. It grants a slight Secondary Attribute bonus as well as a decent bump to her Combo skill HP treatment effect, which plays into her kit extremely well as an emergency HP Treatment machine. If you plan to play Snowshine as a healer, this is absolutely the best choice in terms of a cheap and free-to-play friendly option.
Thunderberge
  • Strength +156 (9/9)
  • HP +78% (9/9)

Medicant: Eye of Talos (4/9):
Shield applied +38.4%.
After the wielder's combo skill provides HP treatment, the controlled operator gains an additional [11.2%×Wielder's Max HP] Shield for 15s.
Effect only triggers once every 15s.
Thunderberge is the signature weapon for Ember, but its also a really good option for Snowshine. Its effect grants an increase to shield effect which she cant take advantage of, but it does give her access to the weapon effect which buffs her combo skill allowing her to apply a shield to the controlled operator scalaing with Snowshine's max HP. This makes a good option for deploying her defensively as her combo skill when paired with this weapon can essentially:
  • HP Treatment ( Polar Rescue)
  • Damage Resist ( LYNX Armor Effect)
  • Shield ( Thunderberge)
Needless to say, this makes her a very versatile character.

Best Gear for Snowshine

LYNX
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP Treatment Efficiency +20%.
When the wearer treats an allied target, the target also receives -15% from all types of damage for 10s. If the said treatment exceeds the target's Max HP, the target receives -30% from all types of damage instead. The aforementioned effects cannot stack.
The LYNX 3-piece set bonus grants the wearer a sizeable HP Treatment Efficiency boost. In addition, after the wearer gives HP treatment to an allied target, that target also gains a decent DMG Reduction against all types of DMG for a short period. If the said treatment exceeds the target's maximum HP, the target will also gain a sizeable DMG Reduction against all types of DMG. To maximize the gains from this set, it should be run with the LYNX Heavy Armor Chest, LYNX Gloves, and two LYNX Connector Kit pieces to complete the set and maximize Ultimate Gain Efficiency, and add on Final Damage Reduction.
  • Body: LYNX Set — Strength, Will, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Gloves: LYNX Set — Strength, Will, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Kit 1: LYNX Set — Strength, Will, Final DMG Reduction
  • Kit 2: LYNX Set — Strength, Will, Final DMG Reduction

Leveling Gear for Snowshine

While the above gear set is the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Armored MSGR
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Strength +50.
When the wearer's HP is below 50%, the wearer gains DMG -30% from all types of damage.
This set will grant the wearer’s a significant strength boost and also grant a sizable damage reduction from all sources when HP falls below a specified threshold. The Armored MSGR Jacket T1 grants an HP % Bonus, While the Gloves provide an Attack % bonus, and additional Attack % bonuses from the Armored MSGR Gyro T1 Kit pieces. While this set is nowhere near as good as the Lynx set, it can be a solid option offering survivability for Snowshine.
  • Body: Armored MSGR Set — Strength, Will, HP %
  • Gloves: Armored MSGR Set — Strength, Will, Attack %
  • Kit 1: Armored MSGR Set — Strength, Will, Attack %
  • Kit 2: Armored MSGR Set — Strength, Will, Attack %

Snowshine's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Polar Rescue > Frigid Snowfield > Hypothermic Assault > Saturated Defense

Snowshine's Combo Skill is the highest priority, as it is the source of her HP Treatment (Healing) she can provide recover, which scales quite heavily with levels. Following that, her Ultimate Frigid Snowfield takes priority due to its boosts to both explosion damage and the Damage over Time. Following these two skills, you can invest more into her Basic Attack and Skill, which offers the lowest benefit of her abilities, although the multiplier scaling is quite large - but she is typically not played as a DPS.

How to Play Snowshine

Snowshine is a great all round operator that has access to a lot of really good verbs in her kit. She has the ability to act as a battery generating SP through her battle skill while also inflicting Cryo infliction, as well as acting as an emergency sustain and buffer with HP Treatment and damage resist granted through her Combo Skill with the right build. She can even apply solidification Solo with her ultimate. how she’s played changes with what teams she’s used in and which role you want her to fill.
