Last Rite Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Last Rite build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Last Rite is a 6-star Great Sword Striker Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Cryo element.

In our Last Rite guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Last Rite, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Last Rite's Best Weapons

Khravengger
  • Strength +156 (9/9)
  • Attack +39% (9/9)

Detonate: Bonechilling (4/9):
Skill DMG Dealt +32% (for every skill).
When the wielder's battle skill applies Cryo Infliction, the wielder gains Cryo DMG Dealt +16% for 15s. When the wielder deals combo skill DMG to an enemy with Cryo Infliction, the wielder gains Cryo DMG Dealt +32% for 15s.
The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves.
Khravengger is Last Rite's signature weapon, and for good reason. It increases her Cryo damage for each stack of Cryo Infliction on the target. Since Last Rite's Combo Skill triggers whenever the enemy has 3 Cryo Inflictions (or ideally more while the Combo skill is on cooldown still), this will grants a tremendous amount of bonus damage for her.
Seeker of Dark Lung
  • Strength +124 (9/9)
  • Ultimate Gain Efficiency +37.14% (9/9)

Detonate: Seeker of the Esoteric (9/9):
Cd: +0.1
Main Attribute +14%.
When the wielder applies an Arts Burst, the wielder gains ATK +16.8% for 30s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
As a more free-to-play option, Seeker of Dark Lung both her main Attribute, as well as an Attack bonus whenever an Arts Burst is triggered. Last Rite can reliably keep 100% uptime on this buff, and gain multiple stacks as well, making this a somewhat solid alternative if you do not have the resources to get her signature weapon.
Industry 0.1
  • Strength +93 (9/9)
  • Attack +23.4% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost (9/9):
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Industry 0.1 is a basic 4-star weapon for Last Rite, granting her Attack after using her Battle Skill, ideally right before you build up enough Cryo Infliction stacks for her Combo Skill to trigger.

Both Sundered Prince and Exemplar are 6-star weapon choices that you can get through one of the weapon selector boxes you can acquire via the New Horizons Banner, or the Authority Level 45 reward respectively. Both are decent alternatives to Seeker of Dark Lung, but it is generally recommended to use these selectors to grab a signature weapon for another Operator instead. Khravengger is just that much better for Last Rite, so if you plan on maining her a lot, you should really try to get one for her.

Last Rite's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the damage of your Last Rite. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • Khravengger: Strength, Attack Boost, and Detonate, farmable in The Hub, and Wuling City.
  • Seeker of Dark Lung: Strength, Ultimate Gain Efficiency, and Detonate, farmable in The Hub and Wuling City.
  • Industry 0.1: Strength, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.
  • Sundered Prince: Strength, Critical Rate, and Crusher, farmable in Power Plateau and Wuling City.
  • Exemplar: Main Attribute, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet. A simple +1/+1/+1 Essence for a temporary weapon like Seeker of Dark Lung will be good enough until you can get your hands on Last Rite's Khravengger.

Best Gear for Last Rite

Tide Surge
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Skill DMG Dealt +20%.
After the wearer applies 2 or more stacks of Arts Infliction on the enemy, the wearer gains Arts DMG Dealt +35% for 15s. This effect cannot stack.
The Tide Surge 3-piece set bonus grants a sizable amount of Skill damage, while also providing an Arts DMG increase when causing multiple Arts Inflictions. Since Last Rite is built around applying numerous Cryo Inflictions as quickly as possible, she will be able to maintain this buff quite well. On top of that, most of the pieces fit her attributes perfectly, providing a mix of Strength, Will, and Cryo damage.
  • Body: Bonekrusha Offpiece — Strength, Will, Combo Skill Damage
  • Gloves: Tide Surge Set — Strength, Will, Cryo and Electric Damage
  • Kit 1: Tide Surge Set — Strength, Will, Cryo and Electric Damage
  • Kit 2: Tide Surge Set — Strength, Will, Cryo and Electric Damage
You can throw any Chest piece on her that has the appropriate attributes, although the Bonekrusha chest fits particularly well, granting both Strength and Will, as well as Combo damage, which is a big source of her damage.

Leveling Gear for Last Rite

While the above gear set is the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Aburrey's Legacy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Skill DMG +24%.
When the wearer casts a battle skill, combo skill, or ultimate, the wearer gains ATK +5% for 15s. The buff from each of the three skill types is unique and does not stack with itself.
This mid-game set will serve your Last Rite well until you've reached the later stages of the game.
AIC Heavy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP +500.
After the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer restores 100 HP. Effect trigger cooldown: 5s.
This set will give Last Rite some attributes at the start of the game.
  • Body: AIC Heavy Set — Strength, Agility, DMG Reduction
  • Hand: AIC Heavy Set — Strength, Will, DMG Reduction
  • Kit 1: AIC Heavy Set — Strength, DMG Reduction
  • Kit 2: AIC Heavy Set — Strength, DMG Reduction

Last Rite's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Winter's Devourer > Vigil Services > Esoteric Legacy of Seš'qa > Dance of Rime

Last Rite's entire kit is built around her unleashing her Combo skill as often as possible for massive burst, while also fueling her Ultimate frequency. Consequently you will want to prioritize spending resources on those 2 skills before your Battle Skill or Basic Attack. Do not ignore your Battle Skill though, since the cost of leveling skills ramps up very quickly, and her Skill will see frequent use as well.

How to Play Last Rite

Last Rite's gameplay is fairly simple, all things considered. The main goal of any team comp built around Last Rite is to generate as many stacks of Cryo Infliction as possible, which will then fuel her Ultimate Energy recharge, to unleash even more damage on your enemies. Thankfully her Battle Skill buffs your Controlled Operator to apply a stack with their Final Strike as well.

One of the main concerns with this gameplay, is that you need to maintain a steady flow of Inflictions and triggering her Combo skill, to fully benefit from all the passives and buffs that are gained from it. Whether it be your weapon buff, the Susceptibility applied by her Talent, or buffs from other characters, you will want to make sure they last long enough that you can build up enough Cryo Inflictions and use her Ultimate, before they fall off.
