Whirlwind Assassin (Whirlwindsin) Build BiS Gear and Runes for Diablo 2 Resurrected

Note: Avoid using Charms with "+x Poison damage Over Y Seconds" as they will significantly reduce the damage of Venom.

This is the generic high damage build for the Assassin.

• Belt: Verdungo's Hearty Cord
• Ring 1: Raven Frost
• Ring 2: Rare ring with % Life and Mana Leech per Hit or Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band
• Amulet: Highlord's Wrath
• Charm 1: Assassin Hellfire Torch
• Charm 2: Annihilus
• Charm 3: Any Charm with Maximum Damage, Attack Rating, and Life
• Charm 4: Trapper's Grand Charms
• Charm 5: Small Charms with Life, Resistances, Mana, or Faster Hit Recovery, depending on needs

• Gloves: Trang-Oul's Claws, Bloodfist, Sander's Taboo, Laying of Hands, or Ghoulhide
• Boots: Gore Riders, Waterwalk, Infernostride, Aldur's Advance, or Natalya's Soul
• Belt: String of Ears, Goldwrap, or Nightsmoke
• Ring 1: Raven Frost
• Ring 2: Rare ring with % Life and Mana Leech per Hit or Angelic Halo
• Amulet: Angelic Wings, The Cat's Eye, or The Mahim-Oak Curio
• Charm 1: Any Hellfire Torch for stats, even if it is not Assassin-specific
• Charm 2: Annihilus
• Charm 3: Any Charm with Maximum Damage, Attack Rating, and Life

• Charm 5: Any Charm with Life, Resistances, Mana, useful primary attributes or Faster Hit Recovery, depending on needs

You can either hire a Defensive (Holy Freeze) or Offensive (Might) Desert Guard Mercenary in Act 2, Nightmare difficulty, depending on whether you want to slow monsters for added safety or improve the overall damage of your Mercenary.

This is one of the best Mercenary gear setups across many characters, including the Whirlwind Assassin.

This is a cheap gear set to get your Mercenary some damage and survivability on a budget.
