AAC Heavyweight Raid Guides for FFXIV

AAC Heavyweight is the third and final raid tier of the Arcadion, the high-end raid series of Dawntrail.

To unlock AAC Heavyweight, players must complete the quest "The Lone Wolf", completing the previous raid tier AAC Cruiserweight. A new quest in Patch 7.4 will unlock the first fight of the raid tier, and players must complete fights in sequence.

The raid's Normal difficulty was released with Patch 7.4 on December 16, 2025. The Savage difficulty will be unlocked three weeks later on January 6, 2025 due to the holiday season.

Here at the Arcadion, you'll find a grand spectacle unlike any other. The realm's greatest fighters pit fist against fist and magick against magick, putting their lives on the line as crowds howl and clamor, each clash more visceral than the last. Step into the arena if you dare, and either rise to become champion, or fall forever in ignominy.

Treasure coffers in the Normal difficulty of the raid do not yield gear but instead reward tokens that can be traded in for gear of your choosing. The systems of raid loot for both Normal and Savage difficulties are explained in our guide linked below.

Aside from gear upgrades, players who complete the Savage version of this raid tier will have the opportunity to roll on a special mount!

Here are the item levels of gear received in the Heavyweight raid. Note that the weapon received from the last floor of Heavyweight is five item levels higher than the gear.
