The Boomsday Project Card Reveal: Eureka!

Recommended Posts

Kinda like the old MalyShaman. Card was called Ancestor's Call, and it was a part of this shaman combo. Unfortunately, cards like Crackle and Lava Shock are wild. More pressing than that, Emperor Thaurissan is wild. So, while this card can be good in wild, its standard use will be weak most likely. Though, here we have a nice combo. Play Stormsurge while you got Malygos in hand, then play Eureka, which will yield two Malygos. Then we can use Lightning Bolt, for 13 mana, twice actually. So, it is 10 mana 26 damage. If you can somehow reduce their costs with Far Sight, it can be even more damage.

In wild, play Emperor Thaurissan, then play Stormsurge, 2 copies of Eureka!, get 2 Malygos, then throw whatever you got in your hand to your opponents face.

Meh.  I think a deck trying to otk using this and maly is just going to be bad, pretty much going to be strictly inferior to shudderwock and maly druid (and probably combo priest).  Just seems like a lot of work for something that can be done easier elsewhere.  Interesting note, it does summon a copy, which means its like *draw and play a minion*, which makes it great if you can get a mana discount on something.  Play a deck with mostly big cards.  Seems pretty good in that.  Just as a good spell in control shaman.  Probably won't be a strong enough deck, but worth considering.
