Charlotte's best weapon is Prototype Amber. Even though it gives HP as its secondary stat, the Energy it regenerates from your Elemental Burst as well as the additional healing makes it a better option than weapons which just give ATK boosts. Favonius Codex is the next best alternative providing a lot of Energy Recharge while also helping to lower your teams Energy Recharge requirements as a result of its effect.

Generally, you will use the Tap version of the skill. While it generates a little less Energy, the cooldown when reduced with Moment of Impact can be short enough to allow you to use it twice which can provide a higher uptime on the mark and more Energy overall. These attacks are also all counted as coming from Monsieur Verite, which is her custom Kamera. This is important for some of Charlotte's Constellations which specifically active when Monsieur Verite attacks.

While Neuvillette has his own self healing abilities it is not enough to efficiently generate Fanfare stacks. Kazuha supports the team by providing Hydro RES Shred to further increase Neuvillette's DMG.

Charlotte can be great in Freeze teams, her Energy Recharge requirements are significantly lower and she also helps bring Cryo Resonance to increase CRIT Rate for your team. Some example teams include Freeze teams with Ganyu, Kamisato Ayaka and Wriothesley.
