Wanderer's Best Teams & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Wanderer team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we will explore the best teams to build for Wanderer, including recommended characters, character synergies, and Team Compositions to help Wanderer reach his full damage potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Wanderer

Wanderer is a Main DPS that will mainly deal Anemo DMG and functions primarily as a Hypercarry, meaning he needs teammates who can buff him. Due to his Ascension passive Jade-Claimed Flower he also wants one or two characters with another element. This allows him to get up to two buffs if his Hanega: Song of the Wind comes into contact with the other elements when it is used.

Faruzan
Faruzan

Faruzan is overall the best support you can use with Wanderer. Keep in mind that in order to get the most out of Faruzan's buffs, it is best if she is C6. She can provide a massive Anemo and CRIT DMG buff, and she also decreases Anemo RES. Under C6 you miss out on the 40% CRIT DMG bonus, but she is still worth using.

Bennett
Bennett

Bennett is a very good option as he gives a huge ATK Boost, provides healing that Wanderer can often need since he can easily get knocked down when in the air, and he also allows Wanderer to get his Pyro Buff. The only thing you need to pay attention to is to make sure to not fly outside of Bennett's circle when you are in the air with Wanderer.

Furina
Furina

Furina is one of the best supports and off-field DPS for Wanderer, providing Hydro, heavy DMG, and DMG bonuses to Wanderer. However, she does eat your health away, so you might want to make sure you have a good healer in your team as well, especially since Wanderer is not the most tanky character. If you do not have Furina, other alternatives are Yelan or Xingqiu.

Venti Kaedehara Kazuha
Grouping Options

Both Venti and Kazuha are able to group up enemies, making it easier for Wanderer to hit multiple enemies at once. Wanderer benefits from Venti as this allows him to have a massive burst window to attack while Venti packs and controls enemies in his Vortex. Kazuha on the other hand provides some buffs on top of the crowd control as well.

Mavuika Xiangling Thoma
Double Pyro Options

Double Pyro teams are good compositions for Wanderer since it makes use of Pyro Resonance to increase Wanderer's damage even further with Xiangling or Mavuika helping to provide additional damage, or Thoma for shields.

Zhongli
Shielders and Healers

As mentioned, Wanderer is not exactly tanky and he tends to be easy to knock down when he is in the air, which can quickly become a problem, especially against some Bosses or multiple targets. To fix this, you can play Wanderer with a shielder, and while Zhongli is your best option, there are many alternatives that provide either shields or healing:

Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Wanderer. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power for example, some F2P teams may also be present.
