Class Synergy List for Lost Ark

In this guide you'll find a fully updated list of all DPS-type class Synergies in Lost Ark. Class Synergies provide damage boost to teammates and offer ways to optimize damage while performing group content.

1.

Introduction to Class Synergies

Not unlike most MMOs, Lost Ark classes have some sort of raid buff they either apply to the enemy, or to their teammates, that increases the amount of damage players do. Some of these buffs are flat damage increases, while others have variable amounts of worth, providing increased critical hit rate, attack speed, and even increased movement speed. In Lost Ark, the community calls these Synergies.

Knowing which classes provide a specific Synergy can help you set your parties up for raids to ensure that each four-player party is paired appropriately. Raid Synergies will only apply to the players in a specific party, they are not raid wide, even in eight-man content or more. With how most classes are built, sometimes a specific class may benefit immensely from a front/back attack damage buff, others may gain nothing from the same buff and prefer something else instead.

In the table below, we'll list all of the DPS-type Synergy buffs. We've decided to exclude Support-style buffs (essentially this means Artist, Paladin, and Bard won't be listed here) since they operate in their own space. If you would like to see the differences between the three Support classes, check back later for our dedicated guide to Supports, coming soon!

1.1.

Flat Damage Synergies

Flat damage modifiers are pretty common in Lost Ark, but some classes will still benefit from this, mainly classes that have enough Crit baked into their kit naturally and don't need it.

There's three types of Synergies that fall under this category, being normal Flat Damage increase,, Attack Power increase and Defense Reduction debuffs. While the numbers may be different, a 6% Flat Damage increase is on par with a 12% Defense Reduction debuff. Attack Power Increase is slightly less beneficial than these two, simply because it's an additive buff rather than multiplicative, but the difference is negligible for most players and shouldn't be considered as a negative.

1.2.

Crit Synergies

Crit Synergies are very strong for most classes in Lost Ark. Due to how most classes build their stats, or how their skills interact with the class in general (for example, a tripod increasing the crit rate), people are taking into consideration that they will likely have a Crit Synergy in their party for endgame content such as Legion Raids. This makes Crit Synergies the most sought after buff in the majority of party compositions.

There's two types of Crit Synergies in the game; Crit Rate up and Crit Resistance down. These Synergies are essentially the same, so you can ignore the wording on them entirely.

1.3.

Stagger Synergies

Stagger Synergies are rather uncommon, but can be extremely beneficial depending on the encounter or the type of content being done. These types of Synergies are great for PUG-type groups, as you don't really know who you're going to be playing with and you can ensure Stagger checks are met by debuffing the boss.

The uptime on all of the Stagger Synergies is rather low, so timing these is of more important than most normal DPS-type Synergies.

1.4.

Attack Speed Synergies

While certainly more niche, Attack Speed Synergies can help cram every last bit of damage possible into tight burst windows, especially in encounters where there's limited uptime between mechanics.

1.5.

Movement Speed Synergies

Typically this is not a direct boost to damage, but players may find it easier to manage uptime on the boss, or classes with front and back attack modifiers may find it easier to manuever around the boss to get their positionals.

As an added bonus, if there's a Raid Captain Icon Raid Captain user in the party, this could provide a nice flat damage boost to the player using it.

Class Synergy Tables

For ease of reading, we'll separate each class in it's own table. Each class will list skills that provide a raid buff, the associated Tripods required to gain access to the raid buff, and any other miscellaneous notes that may apply to the class in general.
