Edgar Best Team Compositions

Nanally is an Anima Esper able to trigger the Blossom Esper Cycle effect when paired with Edgar. She has an additional Blossom Enhancement that causes Blossoms to fire more Lebenblumes, as well as increasing the fire rate to 1 per second. As Charge immediately provides a lot of Ultimate Energy at once, you can set up a back-to-back Ultimate for Nanally if you time things correctly.

Hathor is the premium Lakshana DPS Esper, with a lot of her damage being locked behind her Ultimate. This makes her a perfect partner and main DPS in a team build around Esper Cycles, nds Edgar can provide her with both a second Ultimate if played correctly, as well as consistent healing in case you end up taking a lot of damage on her. Hathor likes charging up her skill for big damage, making her particularly vulnerable to enemy attacks, so Edgar's heals come in quite handy.

Skia is an Lakshana Esper providing Edgar with one of the necessary elements for Charge. He also provides an upgrade to the Remora cycle ( Cosmos and Lakshana combined) which allows him to add additional Remora to enemies. Since Remora slows down enemies, this is another defensive benefit to the team, and between the slow-down and Edgar's healing, makes for a very comfortable gameplay where even a few mistakes don't see you dead on the floor.

Haniel is a Psyche Esper, meaning that she cannot help with creating Cycle Reactions for Edgar. However, she is a great support character for the flexible spot on the team, as she provides a strong Attack buff with her skill and Ultimate. Together, Edgar and Haniel can make up the backbone of almost any team in the game, with Edgar providing the sustain, while Haniel provides the DPS buffs.
