Da Pan Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Da Pan build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Da Pan is a 5-star Great Sword Striker Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Physical element.

In our Da Pan guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Da Pan, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Da Pan's Best Weapons

Ancient Canal
  • Strength +124 (9/9)
  • Arts Intensity +62 (9/9)

Brutality: Lands of Yore (9/9):
Arts Intensity +28.
After the wielder consumes Vulnerability stack(s), the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +[14%×Stacks Consumed] for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Ancient Canal is Da Pan's signature weapon. This weapon's Potential Skill drastically increases the damage output of Da Pan's Combo Skill, which is his highest priority Skill. Since his Combo Skill requires high amounts of Vulnerable stacks to be triggered and consumes them before his big hit actually lands, it will grant the massive damage boost to Da Pan's Crush hit already, while also boosting all of his other skills while the buff is active.
Exemplar
  • Main Attribute +132 (9/9)
  • Attack +39% (9/9)

Suppression: Stacked Hew (4/9):
Physical DMG Dealt +16%.
When the wielder's battle skill or ultimate hits the enemy, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +16% for 30s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Exemplar is a powerful 6-star weapon to use on Da Pan. He'll stack on more damage every time he uses his Battle Skill or Ultimate, for a very high final multiplier to all his Physical damage.
Sundered Prince
  • Strength +156 (9/9)
  • Crit Rate +19.5% (9/9)

Crusher: Princely Deterrence (4/9):
When the wielder performs a Final Strike on the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +16% for 8s.
If the wielder is also the controlled operator, double the ATK increase gained and buff the Final Strike so that it deals Stagger +19.2% to the enemy.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Sundered Prince is a favored weapon to use for stacking Stagger, which Physical Greatsword users like Da Pan are especially proficient in.
OBJ Heavy Burden
  • Strength +124 (9/9)
  • HP +62.4% (9/9)

Efficacy: Tenacious Will (9/9):
Secondary Attribute +14%.
When the wielder applies Knocked Down or Weakened, the wielder gains DEF +50.4% for 15s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
OBJ Heavy Burden is a defensive option. Hitting Knockdowns will grant Defense.
Seeker of Dark Lung
  • Strength +124 (9/9)
  • Ultimate Gain Efficiency +37.14% (9/9)

Detonate: Seeker of the Esoteric (9/9):
Cd: +0.1
Main Attribute +14%.
When the wielder applies an Arts Burst, the wielder gains ATK +16.8% for 30s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Seeker of Dark Lung will grant some Attack after using Da Pan's Combo Skill.
Industry 0.1
  • Strength +93 (9/9)
  • Attack +23.4% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost (9/9):
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Industry 0.1 is a basic 4-star weapon for Da Pan's, granting him Attack after using his Battle Skill, ideally right before you build up enough Vulnerable stacks for his Combo Skill to trigger.

Da Pan's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the damage of your Da Pan. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • Ancient Canal: Strength, Arts Intensity, and Brutality, farmable in Origin Lodespring and Power Plateau.
  • Exemplar: Main Attribute, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.
  • Sundered Prince: Strength, Critical Rate Boost, and Crusher, farmable in Power Plateau and Wuling City.
  • OBJ Heavy Burden: Strength, HP Boost, and Efficacy, farmable in Origin Lodespring.
  • Seeker of Dark Lung: Strength, Ultimate Gain Boost, and Detonate, farmable in The Hub and Wuling City.
  • Industry 0.1: Strength, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future.

Best Gear for Da Pan

Type 50 Yinglung
3-piece set effect: Wearer's ATK +15%.
When any operator in the team casts a battle skill, the wearer gains 1 stack of Yinglung's Edge that gives DMG +20% to the wearer's next combo skill. Yinglung's Edge can stack 3 time(s).
This set is going to stack on the damage for Da Pan. Every Battle Skill performed will increase the payoff for when Da Pan hits that spicy Combo Skill finishing move.
  • Body: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Heavy Armor — Strength, Will, Physical DMG Bonus
  • Hand: Swordmancer Offpiece - Swordmancer TAC Gauntlets — Strength, Will, Physical DMG Bonus
  • Kit 1: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Radar — Strength, Will, Physical DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Radar — Strength, Will, Physical DMG Bonus

Leveling Gear for Da Pan

While the above gear set is the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Aburrey's Legacy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Skill DMG +24%.
When the wearer casts a battle skill, combo skill, or ultimate, the wearer gains ATK +5% for 15s. The buff from each of the three skill types is unique and does not stack with itself.
This is the set Da Pan will be using for most of Chapter 1. Do more damage. Simple, yet effective.
  • Body: Catastrophe Offpiece - Catastrophe Heavy Armor T1 — Strength, Will, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Hand: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Gauntlets — Strength, Will, DMG Bonus vs. Staggered
  • Kit 1: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Auditory Chip — Strength, Will, DMG Bonus vs. Staggered
  • Kit 2: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Auditory Chip — Strength, Will, DMG Bonus vs. Staggered
AIC Heavy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP +500.
After the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer restores 100 HP. Effect trigger cooldown: 5s.
There's not much choice for the 2* gear, and Da Pan will be using AIC Heavy until you can craft higher rarity equipment.
  • Body: Prototype Heavy Armor Offpiece - Prototype Heavy Armor — Strength, Intellect, Attack
  • Hand: AIC Heavy Set - AIC Gauntlets — Strength, Will, Final DMG Reduction
  • Kit 1: AIC Heavy Set - AIC Heavy Plate — Strength, Final DMG Reduction
  • Kit 2: AIC Heavy Set - AIC Heavy Plate — Strength, Final DMG Reduction

Da Pan's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: MORE SPICE! > FLIP DA WOK! > CHOP 'N DUNK! > ROLLING CUT!

Da Pan goal is to build up a ton of resources, then consume it all at once. In Da Pan's case, that resource can also be built by other teammates, so focus on his Combo Skill that consumes these resources first for that big, meaty damage, followed by his own Battle Skill and Ultimate that also generate them.

How to Play Da Pan

Da Pan's playstyle is very straight forward. Use his Battle Skill and have your other Operators help build up to 4 stacks of Vulnerable, at which point his Combo Skill gets triggered to Crush enemies for one massive chunk of damage.
