Mi Fu Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Mi Fu build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Mi Fu is a 6-star Great Sword Guard Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Physical element.

Mi Fu's Best Weapons

Amaranthine Tassel
  • Strength Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
  • Attack Boost [L] +39.0% (9/9)

Combative: Amaranthine Cleave:
Physical DMG Dealt +25.6%. When the wielder applies Physical Susceptibility, the wielder gains Arts Intensity +48 for 20s. When the wielder applies Crush, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +[14.4% + (4.8% × Max number of Vulnerability stacks consumed from one enemy)] for 30s. The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves.
Amaranthine Tassel is Mi Fu's signature weapon, as well as a solid option for other Physical Great Sword users as well. It improves her damage output as long as you can reliably inflict both Crush and Physical Susceptibility, which is quite easy to do by herself as long as you occasionally use both her Combo and Battle Skills.
Phantom Pain
  • Strength Boost [L] +156.0 (9/9)
  • Arts Intensity Boost [L] +78.0 (9/9)

Suppression: Layered Suffering:
Physical DMG Dealt +11.2%. When the wielder casts battle skills or combo skills, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +8.8% for 20s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Phantom Pain is Mi Fu's Battlepass alternative, a solid weapon of choice if you didn't get lucky on the weapon banner or do not want to pull for it. It is straightforward to use, and stacks up by simply using her Combo and Battle Skills.
Ancient Canal
  • Strength Boost [M] +124.0 (9/9)
  • Arts Intensity Boost [M] +62.0 (9/9)

Brutality: Lands of Yore:
Arts Intensity +28. After the wielder consumes Vulnerability stack(s), the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +[14%×Stacks Consumed] for 20s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Ancient Canal is a 5 star option for Mi Fu, boosting her raw Physical damage output and providing the desired stats for Mi Fu.

Mi Fu's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the weapon effects of your Mi Fu. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • Amaranthine Tassel: Strength, Attack DMG Boost, and Combative, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.
  • Phantom Pain: Strength, Arts intensity Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Origin Lodespring, Qingbo Stockade and Test Area.
  • Ancient Canal: Strength, Arts Intensity, and Brutality, farmable in Origin Lodespring and Power Plateau.

Best Gear for Mi Fu

Grizzled Edge
3-piece set effect: Wearer's ATK +8%. When the wearer applies Crush or Breach, the wearer gains Physical DMG Dealt +[6% × Max number of Vulnerability stacks consumed from one enemy] for 20s. If the target already has Physical Susceptibility, is Staggered, or has attached Originium Crystals, increase the aforementioned buff to 1.5 times. This buff cannot stack.
Grizzled Edge is Mi Fu's current end game gear. It provides ample Physical DMG and Arts Intensity bonuses on its pieces ,and synergies well with her kit since she can inflict both Crush and Physical Susceptibility, she can make full use of the bonuses provided by the set all by herself.
Swordmancer
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Stagger Efficiency Bonus +20%. After the wearer applies a Physical Status, the wearer also performs 1 hit that deals 250% ATK of Physical DMG and [10 Stagger]. Effect trigger cooldown: 15s.
Swordmancer is a pretty decent option for Mi Fu. It has all the stats she could possibly want, including major Physical damage bonuses, as well as a Stagger bonus. She also applies a Physical Status quite often, which will trigger the extra benefits of the set itself. This is easy set to throw at her early on, especially if you already have it artificed, but Grizzled End is her best in slot.
  • Body: Swordmancer Set — Strength, Will, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Hand: Swordmancer Set — Strength, Will, Physical Dmg Bonus
  • Kit 1: Swordmancer Set — Strength, Will, Physcial Dmg Bonus
  • Kit 2: Swordmancer Set — Strength, Will, Physcial Dmg Bonus

Leveling Gear for Mi Fu

Armored MSGR
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Strength +50. When the wearer's HP is below 50%, the wearer gains 30% DMG Reduction against all types of DMG.
Armored MSGR will provide Mi Fu with survivabilty early on, as well as bonus Strengh. Ideally you would want to get her to gold tier as soon as possible, but if you've just started out with the game, this will be a nice early gear set for her.

Mi Fu's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Qingbo Triplex > Fistmancer of Blades > Pile of No Mercy > Fists of No Regrets

Her Battle Skill and Basic Attack are both very important for her actual damage output, so try to level both of them equally. Her Combo Skill can be neglected, as it simply serves as a vehicle to apply Physical Susceptibility and let her use her empowered Battle Skills, and neither of these effects get scaled with additional levels in her Combo Skill.

Her Ultimate does a solid amount of damage, but most of her DPS output will come from hitting enemies with basics and using her empowered Battle Skill as often as possible. You can level the Ultimate, but it is not nearly as important as for many other characters.

How to Play Mi Fu

Mi Fu's ideal playstyle has her being your controlled main operator. When you begin the encounter, you will want to use her Skill to rope in all the enemies and get right into the next phase of her skill. You will then want to build up to at least 3 stacks of Vulnerable quickly via your team to trigger her combo skill, which applies Physical Susceptibility.

You immediately follow this up with another Battle Skill, which will consume the Vulnerable applications by triggering a Crush attack, while also allowing her to use her final enhancement of her Battle Skill once you have enough SP again. Ideally you want to be able to do this immediately after the setup for it, to benefit from the damage amplification effects, so make sure to have enough SP for two back-to-back Battle Skills.

Once you have finished bursting like this once, you can either trigger another of her Combo Skills by reaching 3 Vulnerable stacks again, or use her Ultimate, to not have to use her regular Battle Skill again. While it does provide some grouping utility, this can be done by other characters as well, and you'd rather just cast her Skill 2 and Skill 3 versions instead of wasting SP on her Skill 1.
