Blizzard Frozen Orb Sorceress Build for Diablo 2 Resurrected
The Blizzard Orb Sorceress utilizes both Frozen Orb
and
Blizzard in an alternating fashion to truly maximize
damage output. Instead of placing the final Skills in something
like
Fire Ball or
Hydra, this Sorceress aims to
simply output as much Cold Damage as possible. She is very
efficient in targeted farming areas.
Introduction
The Blizzard Orb Sorceress is very similar to a pure Blizzard Sorceress
but with 2.4 removing Global Cooldowns, it is now possible to mix Frozen Orb
and
Blizzard together for extra Damage output! While this Character
cannot perfectly farm every area in the game, the areas that she does focus on
such as the Ancient Tunnels she will absolutely crush. Additionally, many
areas such as the Chaos Sanctuary are still plenty viable with a strong
enough mercenary. Like other single-element characters, while
still leveling or undergeared, she will be dominant in specific areas but
struggle anywhere with Cold Immune Monsters.
You can check the viability of this build in PvM by consulting our PvM Tier List.

Blizzard Orb Sorceress Breakpoints
In Diablo 2, stats that affect action speed (known as frames) for attacking, casting, blocking, and recovering from a hit can almost never be taken literally. For example, gaining 10% Increased Attack Speed from an item will not necessarily translate into 10% faster attacks. To achieve faster actions, certain breakpoints must be reached, which vary for every class. The tables below list how much of a given stat is required to actually improve the action speed of the class for the stated action.

You can either choose a Defensive ( Holy Freeze) or Offensive

Might mercenary.
