Blood Boil Warlock Build for Diablo 2 Resurrected

The Demon Warlock uses his control of various Demons to slay his enemies. This version of the Warlock specifically takes advantage of the Skill Blood Boil which creates a Fire and Physical damage erruption around each of his minions. By using Death Mark or teleporting onto packs of enemies, he can quickly burst down his foes before moving on.

The following section shows the core skills for the Blood Boil Warlock. Since this class is new the current optimal Skill choices are not yet discovered, but below are a list of the useful skills for this Demon build style.

1. 20 points to Blood Boil – Rupture your Demons, dealing damage to them and enemies around them.
2. 20 points to Engorge – Heal your Demons and increase their Defenses.
3. 20 points to Blood Oath – Improve defenses of Summons and yourself.
4. 1 point to Summon Defiler – A demon that does not attack, but instead binds the souls of other demons together, linking damage taken. A great choice for many builds, summoner or not.
5. 20 points to Bind Demon – Bind any Demon in the game. This Summon persists between games so it can be really nice to get a Cursed or Conviction Aura Demon.
6. 20 points to Demonic Mastery – Increases Number of Demons, Damage, Attack Rating, Attack Speed, Run Walk Speed, and more. Useful to boost bound Demon stats.
7. 1 point to Death Mark – Teleport Demons to fight a specific target.

Starting out the Demon tree is a little slow as you only get 1 Summon, however as your Demonic Mastery increases and you gain more Summons and skills this character improves a lot. Once Blood Boil is unlocked it definitely starts to take off. In the endgame teleporting around with Enigma and Blood Boiling your Summons is very fast for farming.

• Ring 2: The Stone of Jordan or Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band
• Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope, +3 Warlock Demon Skills Amulet
• Charm 1: Warlock Hellfire Torch
• Charm 2: Annihilus
• Charm 3: 9x Demon Skiller Grand Charms with Life or enough Faster Hit Recovery
• Charm 4: 10 Small Charms with Life, Resistances, Mana, or Faster Hit Recovery, depending on needs

In Diablo 2, stats that affect action speed (known as frames) for attacking, casting, blocking, and recovering from a hit can almost never be taken literally. For example, gaining 10% Increased Attack Speed from an item will not necessarily translate into 10% faster attacks. To achieve faster actions, certain breakpoints must be reached, which vary for every class. The tables below list how much of a given stat is required to actually improve the action speed of the class for the stated action.

An Offensive (Might) Desert Guard Mercenary in Act 2 will be the best for increasing your Bound Demon and Mercenary damage. Otherwise, a Defensive (Holy Freeze) Mercenary could be useful to slow enemies for more survivability.
