Echoing Strike Warlock Build for Diablo 2 Resurrected

Last updated Today at 16:00 by MrLlamaSC

The Echoing Strike Warlock is a ranged physical fighter, similar to that of a Throw Barbarian. With the ability to create astral projections of his current weapon he can throw up to five instances of his weapon at once to clear everything in front of him.

1.

Introduction

The Echoing Strike Warlock throws projections of his weapons in front of himself, dealing damage both on the way out and the way in. This skill does still rely on Attack Rating so it will require a little bit of leveling and gear but thanks to it piercing it will still be useful early on against swarms of mobs.

Warlock Echoing Strike Skill Build

The following section shows the core skills for the Echoing Strike Warlock. Since this class is new the current optimal Skill choices are not yet discovered, but below are a list of the useful skills for this Echoing Strike build style.

  1. Echoing Strike - The main Skill of the build.
  2. Mirrored Blades - A Synergy for Echoing Strike + good for Single Target fights as it swings a bunch of times at once at one monster.
  3. Blade Warp - a Synergy for Echoing Strike
  4. Hex: Purge - Adds an AoE Hex. Since we are already hitting a lot of monsters at once, this hex will help blow up mobs even faster.
  5. Hex: Bane - Adds Magic Damage to Weapon for lots of increased damage that won't struggle against many immunities.
  6. Levitation Mastery - Increases Damage, Attack Rating, Critical Strike, and lowers Weapon Requirements. Definitely a must have.
  7. Psychic Ward - Prevents Damage and Stuns Melee attackers. Helpful for survivability
  8. Consume - Useful for Consuming a Goatman or maybe Defiler if using Hex:Bane

While not the fastest leveling build of the Warlock (Fire or Magic Warlock will be best there), this is still one of the better builds and should be decently safe thanks to it being a Ranged Attack. Focus on improving your weapon as a first priority and remember you can use 2-handed weapons with a shield.

Echoing Strike Warlock Breakpoints

In Diablo 2, stats that affect action speed (known as frames) for attacking, casting, blocking, and recovering from a hit can almost never be taken literally. For example, gaining 10% Increased Attack Speed from an item will not necessarily translate into 10% faster attacks. To achieve faster actions, certain breakpoints must be reached, which vary for every class. The tables below list how much of a given stat is required to actually improve the action speed of the class for the stated action.

6.1.

Faster Hit Recovery Breakpoints

Echoing Strike Warlock Mercenary

You can either hire a Defensive (Holy Freeze) or Offensive (Might) Desert Guard Mercenary in Act 2, Nightmare difficulty, depending on whether you want to slow monsters for added safety or improve the overall damage of your Mercenary.
