Echoing Strike Warlock Build for Diablo 2 Resurrected
The Echoing Strike Warlock is a ranged physical fighter, similar to that of a Throw Barbarian. With the ability to create astral projections of his current weapon he can throw up to five instances of his weapon at once to clear everything in front of him.
Introduction
The Echoing Strike Warlock throws projections of his weapons in front of himself, dealing damage both on the way out and the way in. This skill does not rely on Attack Rating so you can focus on damage and throw out some giant piercing weapons.
Warlock Echoing Strike Skill Build
The following section shows the core skills for the Echoing Strike Warlock. For a detailed breakdown of all core and optional skills as well as the recommended order for allocating skill points, refer to the Skills page of this guide.
- 20 points to Echoing Strike – The main Skill of the build.
- 20 points to Mirrored Blades – A Synergy for Echoing Strike + good for Single Target fights as it swings a bunch of times at once at one monster.
- 20 points to Blade Warp – a Synergy for Echoing Strike.
- 20 points to Levitation Mastery – Increases Damage, Attack Rating, Critical Strike, and lowers Weapon Requirements. Definitely a must have.
- 1 point to Bind Demon – Grab a demon with Curse and Fanaticism for massive damage boosts.
- 1 point to Sigil: Lethargy – Slow monsters and increase their damage taken.
- 1 point to Psychic Ward – Prevents Damage and Stuns Melee attackers. Helpful for survivability.
- 1 point to Consume – Useful for Consuming a Goatman.
- 1 point to Hex: Purge – Adds an AoE Hex. Since we are already hitting a lot of monsters at once, this hex will help blow up mobs even faster.
- 1 point to Hex: Siphon – Reduce incoming damage and gain life and mana per kill.
Hexes for this build are not as important, so you can pick the one that you like the best and put 1 point into it for a little extra boost. Right now it makes more sense to place the skills elsewhere.
While not the fastest leveling build of the Warlock (Fire or Magic Warlock will be best there), this is still one of the better builds and should be decently safe thanks to it being a Ranged Attack. Focus on improving your weapon as a first priority and remember you can use 2-handed weapons with a shield.

Echoing Strike Warlock Breakpoints
In Diablo 2, stats that affect action speed (known as frames) for attacking, casting, blocking, and recovering from a hit can almost never be taken literally. For example, gaining 10% Increased Attack Speed from an item will not necessarily translate into 10% faster attacks. To achieve faster actions, certain breakpoints must be reached, which vary for every class. The tables below list how much of a given stat is required to actually improve the action speed of the class for the stated action.
Faster Hit Recovery Breakpoints
| Hit Recovery Breakpoints | |||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Frames to perform action | 13 | 12 | 11 | 10 | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 |
| Faster Hit Recovery required to reach frame | 0% | 5% | 10% | 16% | 26% | 39% | 56% | 86% | 152% |
Faster Cast Rate Breakpoints
