Echoing Strike Warlock Build Skills for Diablo 2 Resurrected
This page shows the recommended skill point progression and priority for the Echoing Strike Warlock. Note that the following list refers to the total number of skill points, not the character level, to best account for the 12 bonus skill points granted by quests.
Echoing Strike Warlock Skill Build
- 20 points to Echoing Strike – The main Skill of the build.
- 20 points to Mirrored Blades – A Synergy for Echoing Strike + good for Single Target fights as it swings a bunch of times at once at one monster.
- 20 points to Blade Warp – a Synergy for Echoing Strike.
- 20 points to Levitation Mastery – Increases Damage, Attack Rating, Critical Strike, and lowers Weapon Requirements. Definitely a must have.
- 1 point to Bind Demon – Grab a demon with Curse and Fanaticism for massive damage boosts.
- 1 point to Sigil: Lethargy – Slow monsters and increase their damage taken.
- 1 point to Psychic Ward – Prevents Damage and Stuns Melee attackers. Helpful for survivability.
- 1 point to Consume – Useful for Consuming a Goatman.
- 1 point to Hex: Purge – Adds an AoE Hex. Since we are already hitting a lot of monsters at once, this hex will help blow up mobs even faster.
- 1 point to Hex: Siphon – Reduce incoming damage and gain life and mana per kill.
Select Echoing Strike Warlock Skill Discussion
The Echoing Strike Warlock may take a little bit of time to deal high damage, but is still viable for a playthrough. Focus on leveling a lot and farming some Attack Rating Gear + a nice damage weapon.
The Echoing Strike Warlock requires a decent amount of Skill Points to fully max out, but focus on Levitation Mastery and Echoing Strike Early. Then you can add points to the Synergies. Hex:Purge is also pretty strong early so getting a few points in that can be useful.
This character is very strong in the late game in more narrow areas where monsters line up in front of him. He could be a great Arcane Sanctuary farmer (with Hex:Bane for Magic Damage against Ghosts) and powerful in many of the Terror Zone Areas.
Echoing Strike Warlock Stats Discussion
The following section discusses how many attribute points should be allocated to each of the primary stats.
How much Strength Does an Echoing Strike Warlock Need?
Enough for gear — However, remember that Levitation Mastery will reduce the requirements of your gear by a substantial amount. So that 200 Strength item may actually only require 100 Strength.
How much Dexterity Does an Echoing Strike Warlock Need?
Enough for Gear — Dexterity is great for increasing Block Chance,
particularly with
Stormshield, but if you are not planning on
investing points to max that out, it is often not worth taking any additional
Dexterity, as the return on Defense is very low. Early on a few points to
help with Attack Rating could be viable, but eventually they will probably
be removed with a respec.
How much Vitality Does an Echoing Strike Warlock Need?
Everything else into Vitality — 250+ points. Every excess attribute point should be allocated to Vitality, as long as you can meet the Strength and Dexterity requirements of your items by the time you wish to equip them. Not only does this increase your Life total, but this also increases the chance for Healing Potions to crit, doubling their healing output. Further, additional Life reduces the chance that you will be put into hit recovery.
How much Energy Does an Echoing Strike Warlock Need?
Nothing — Allocating attribute points to Energy in a final build is universally considered sub-par for almost every character due to the widespread availability of Mana Potions. While leveling, if you find yourself struggling with Mana you can allocate a few points to Energy that you can then remove with a respec later on.
