Lyon Guide for Castrum Lacus Litore
Halfway through the Dawon boss fight, up to eight players will need to fight Lyon in a separate mini-boss encounter accessible from the north of the arena. This is skippable with extremely high dps.
Lyon will use multiple mechanics from his duel, Beast of Man, but with much more leeway for error. He will go untargetable upon reaching 50% HP, whereupon players will be returned to the main arena.
Boss Ability Quick-Guide
- Raging Winds: Summons a damaging wall around the miniboss arena.
- Winds' peal: Small telegraphed point-blank AoE, immediately followed by a moderate knockback.
- Heart of Nature 1: Telegraphed earthquake AoE. Begins as a circle AoE, and pulses outwards with two additional donut AoEs.
- Taste of Blood: Jumps to one side of the arena, then does a frontal cleave for extreme damage.
- Heart of Nature 2: Four small telegraphed exaflare AoEs that pulse across the arena. Outside cardinals and the centre of the arena will be safe.
- Twin Agonies: Extremely powerful tankbuster.
- The King's Notice: Gaze mechanic, look away to resolve.

Tips and Tricks
- If there are eight or less players in the instance, Lyon will require that all but one player move to his arena in order to face him. If players do not do this manually, he will randomly pull players from the Dawon arena after a short delay until only one remains. If all players in either arena die during adds phase, both bosses will immediately enrage and force a party wipe. In order to maximise safety, ensure that a self-sufficient tank is the one left to handle Dawon and the adds.
- The Heart of Nature + Winds' Peak combo can be easily resolved with an anti-knockback, such as Arms Length or Surecast. This allows players to simply move into the small point-blank AoE and remain there in order to avoid the exaflares.
- Once the adds phase has been completed, players will gain the Warmonger buff for three minutes, increasing their damage dealt while reducing their damage taken.
Rewards
Clearing the final boss of CLL will reward players with a personal treasure coffer that only they can see, which can be found just in front of the exit.
