Brionac Guide for Castrum Lacus Litore
The first encounter of CLL is split into two bosses: Brionac, and the Helldiver. This guide will go over the former of these two encounters.
Brionac is a wall boss that is weak to magic, similar to other magitek in the Bozjan Southern Front. Healers and Casters will innately deal more damage, while phsyical jobs will benefit from having Lost Spellforge cast on them for the fight.
This boss must be killed within a few minutes of the other, otherwise it will enrage and wipe the raid. In order to avoid this, both teams shouild communicate the HP% of their bosses in Yell chat, and if one group is dealing significantly more damage than the other, they should slow down or stop their damage entirely in order to avoid a potential enrage and wipe situation.
Boss Ability Quick-Guide:- Electric Anvil: Non-cleaving tankbuster on highest enmity target.
- False Thunder: Animation tell, cleaves most of the arena. Stand behind lowered arm.
- Anti-Warmachina Weaponry: Spawns a Magitek Core add that must be killed.
- Lightning Shower: Raidwide.
- Energy Generation: Spawns orbs. Light are donuts, Dark are point-blank.
- Voltstream: Multiple telegraped line AoEs in a row.
- Pole Shift: Swaps the positions of paired orbs.
- Magitek Magnetism: Pushes player away from, or pulls player towards, tethered orb.
- Polar Magnetism: Combines Pole Shift and Magitek Magnetism. Pole resolves first.

- The same zone for False Thunder is quite small, being behind the lowered arm during the castbar. Move all the way to the north wall if you are unsure during your clear attempt at the boss fight.
- The add spawned by Anti-Warmachina Weaponry will begin damaging the Tunnel Armor that is present for the other boss fight, Helldiver. Both bosses will immediately enrage if the Tunnel Armor is destroyed, so the add must be killed as soon as possible.
- The first two Energy Generation casts will be only Light orbs for one, and only Dark orbs for the other. Simply stand on a light orb to avoid both donut AoEs, or at the wall on a corner to avoid the point-blank AoEs for dark orbs.
- Voltstream is very simple to dodge by standing on the sides of the arena and moving forward and back.
- Pole Shift allows plenty of time to orient, but be sure to only get hit by one AoE if you do not think you can resolve it safely.
- Magitek Magnetism will push or pull you roughly the distance between a west-cardinal orb and an east-cardinal orb. Standing too close if you are being pulled in will still deal damage, and aiming the push tether can be difficult, so prepare for at least one Vulnerability Stack on this mechanic if you are unsure about resolving it safely.
- Polar Magnetism will have the orb swaps resolve first, then the magnetism part of the mechanic. Aim to stand where you will need to be after the orb swaps, otherwise you will likely take at least one unwanted hit, or potentially two.
- Upon killing Brionac, adds will begin to infinitely spawn, and continue to do so until Helldiver is killed, at which point you will be able to continue further into the duty. If Helldiver does not die quickly enough after Brionac, both will enrage and kill all players, forcing a wipe.
Clearing the first bosses of CLL will reward players with a personal treasure coffer that only they can see, which can be found in the entrance corridor to the next section. Some players may choose to mark this as it can be easy for newcomers to miss it inside the crowd of other players.
The next section is Bladesmeet - Albeleo and Prison Rescue. If you wish to view the alternate guide for the first bosses, please see Eaglesight - Helldiver.
