Queen's Guard Guide for Delubrum Reginae (Normal)
The Queen's Guard are the second boss of Delubrum Reginae. Each member of the Guard is fought one by one in a random order, and the mechanics they use will return in the final boss of the instance.
At the beginning of the fight, all four bosses will be targetable and do nothing but auto-attack. They will all jump away after 25 seconds, or individually once their HP reaches 80%.
As a reminder, all encounters within DRN will afflict the debuff Twice-come Ruin for two minutes when players are hit by an avoidable attack or mechanic. If you are afflicted with this again before the first debuff expires, you will be cursed with Doom and die instantly. Due to this, first-time players should focus on personal safety over keeping their damage up.
Boss Ability Quick-Guide
As the four bosses are fought in a random order, their individual mechanics will be listed below.
Queen's Soldier
- Blood and Bone: Raidwide.
- Rapid Sever: Tankbuster.
- Double Gambit: Summons four clones.
- Secrets Revealed: Tethers to two clones. These clones will cast Pawn Off, a large untelegraphed point-blank AoE. From the second cast onwards, the clones will jump around the arena before casting, so players will need to keep track of them.
Queen's Knight
- Blood and Bone: Raidwide.
- Rapid Sever: Tankbuster.
- Sword Omen + Optimal Play: Glowing swords surround around the boss. When Optimal Play is used alongside this, it will cast a late-telegraphed point-blank AoE around the boss.
- Shield Omen + Optimal Play: Glowing shields surround around the boss. When Optimal Play is used alongside this, it will cast a late-telegraphed donut AoE around the boss.
Queen's Warrior
- Blood and Bone: Raidwide.
- Rapid Sever: Tankbuster.
- Bombslinger: Summons multiple bombs around the arena. Half will be smaller/lighter, and half will be larger/heavier.
- Above Board: Throws all bombs and players into the air. Big bombs will drop first, then players and small bombs at the same time.
- Reversal of Forces: Swaps the weights of smaller and larger bombs, making small bombs drop first the next time Above Board is used, followed by players and big bombs at the same time.
Queen's Gunner
- Queen's Shot: Raidwide.
- Shot in the Dark: Tankbuster.
- Automatic Turret: Summons turrets. This will be two on the first cast, and four on all others. The facing direction of each turret is indicated by a visible arrow.
- Turret's Tour: Telegraphed line AoE aimed from the boss at a turret. This will be one on the first cast, and two on all others. When the line AoE hits a turret, it will be fired again in the direction the turret is facing. Turrets are able to hit other turrets and repeat this.
Enrage
- Strongpoint Defence: Protects each member of the Guard with an Aetherial Ward. These must all be destroyed before the bosses finish casting their enrages.
- Coat of Arms: Protects the Aetherial Ward from two opposite directions. Players attacking a ward from a protected side will be knocked back, stunned, and inflicted with Twice-come Ruin.

Tips and Tricks
- At the beginning of the encounter, players are able to freely walk around the arena without starting the fight as long as they do not damage the bosses. As such, it is possible to not only open this fight with a Caster LB, but also with a Ranged LB from the side in order to hit all four bosses.
- The jumping clones in the Soldier boss phase can be easily solved by instead watching the position of one of the two safe clones as it jumps around the arena, then moving to it once the mechanic begins to resolve.
- The bombs in the Warrior boss phase can be easily solved by always moving to stand on top of a large/heavy bomb, unless Reversal of Forces was cast beforehand, in which case players should stand on a small/light bomb.
- During the enrage sequence, players should pause for a moment when Coat of Arms is cast, in order to ensure that they are not stunned and debuffed. Additionally, a Caster LB3 can be used to hit all four Aetherial Wards when targeted at the middle of the arena, regardless of the directions protected by Coat of Arms.
Rewards and Proceeding Onwards
Clearing the Queen's Guard will reward players with a personal treasure coffer that only they can see, which can be found near the exit of the boss arena.
The walkway between the Queen's Guard and the next encounter will be safe.
The next section is Bozjan Phantom.
