Tundra Rhino, Dark Iron Dwarf or River Crocolisk. My personal choice would be Tundra Rhino so the curve wouldn't get too heavy.

I appreciate this deck you put together.  I needed to make some adjustments due to card limitations, but it has functioned true to form as a cheap, semi aggro/midrange hunter with pretty constant pressure.  The hound master is especially useful to buff a minion into that 4 attack range against priest or above the 4 health line as defense against flame strike/hellfire.  Thank you for all the work you put into the site and helping other gamers.

Really enjoy using this deck, the only issue I have is the lack of card draw, can really hurt u if ur opponent forces the long game

Most swaps that help you beat the taunt warriors are more expensive. You can check the full budget beast midrange and swap cards that are different, and that you have.

What alternatives might be used to replace Fiery Bat, Carrion Grub, and Infested Wolf now that those are Wild if you wanted to run this in Standard and still stay on the cheap?

I'd add one Candleshot, Scavenging Hyena, 2x Bearshark, 1x Cobalt Scalebane and if you face a lot of decks with suitable targets, then 1x Spellbreaker, otherwise a second copy of Cobalt Scalebane. Alternatively, if you feel you need more taunts, Nesting Roc can also be a strong, cheap inclusion.
