Guides to Covenant Class and Signature Abilities Now Available

Recommended Posts

We've updated our guide section with guides that cover all Covenant Abilities.

In Shadowlands, each Covenant grants you two abilities. The first ability is the same for all members of a Covenant and is called a Signature ability, the second one is class-specific.

Signature Covenant Abilities

  • The Kyrian Covenant grants you access to a Steward that gives you a Phial of Serenity that restores 15% health and removes all diseases, poisons, curses, and bleeds affecting you. On top of that, the Steward will be able to change your talents and compliment your friend.
  • The Night Fae Covenant members can use Soulshape which increases their movement speed by 30%, transforming them into various creatures. The spell can be reactivated to teleport 10 yards forward.
  • Members of the Necrolord Covenant have access to Fleshcraft, which makes you form a shield over 4 seconds that absorbs damage equal to 20-50% of your maximum health for two minutes.
  • The Venthyr Covenant ability is called Door of Shadows and it teleports you a short distance.

Check out our guide to all Covenant Abilities for more details!

While the Covenants may have one signature look for their armor/transmog, each has 4 tints for it from different Covenant-relaed activities, and TempusSimian has gathered them all up in one convenient image (same as he did with all the Covenant-related mounts earlier).

Reddit user DallMit found an alternative cool way how to enter the Venthyr Covenant Sanctum in Sinfall using Door of Shadows.
if you go to 25, 43 in Revendreth (Sinfall) you can use the Door of Shadows Covenant Ability to teleport behind the gates and enter the Venthyr Covenant Sanctum.

This is one of those "essential" addon things you really can't do without in Shadowlands. The Maw has been frustrating non Druid/worgen players for days now and will continue to do so, as traveling without a mount gets pretty annoying (despite some creative ways to move around).
But now it's time to not work around that problem, and instead look at just how many times we've pressed the mount button only to hear how cowardly our hundreds of mounts are! Every single one of them, including the constructs, undead, zeppelins, floating disks, they ALL are too afraid of the Maw to help!
So now there's this WeakAura, made by Boneshock, to help us see just how many times we've been disappointed by our companions and tools!

Players have been having a lot of fun with Torghast's anima powers, and it seems many have been playing over the weekend, as we're getting some great clips from the fights! From boss one-shots to some clever use of positioning to ignore most of a bosses abilities, as well as just crazy anima-fueled shenanigans in general, we're taking a look at what players have been up to!

*Apologies if the reddit videos autoplay with sound for you, we can't really change that.
Let's start with the actually funny ones, as this Druid found the perfect, peaceful Druid way to down one of the end-bosses:
Synod in particular has been troubling some specs when they don't get one of the crazier anima power combos, so 13ethr33 decided to do it the old-fasion way, before the game itself gave us cheesy methods via powers:
Then there's the just simply crazy powerful permanently up ones, like the Demon Hunter Immolation combo:
And finally there's the many, many one-shots the various anima combos provide, as well as the just really really fast kills:

There will be plenty more fun to come out of Torghast, with many more anima combinations to be had, as well as the later bosses who should prove even more of a challenge!

While we can't get our first legendary this week, the next reset is coming up very soon so many have been trying to get their legendary memories ready for that. The third boss of the Plaguefall dungeon drops Serpentstalker's Trickery, the best legendary memory for Marksmanship Hunters , currently a very powerful spec, but the drop rate isn't that high.
In comes Rahkir to help Hunters out, as they've put together an easy and fast farm, skipping past everything and even 2-manning the boss! Each run (on Normal) actually only takes less than 4 minutes using Camouflage,  so it shouldn't be a problem to get the memory:
