In our guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Vesna, from building the best artifacts and weapons to important stat priorities and rotations.

Best Weapons for Vesna

Listed below are some weapons likely to be useful for Vesna. As Vesna is not yet released, information regarding her kit is subject to change, and weapon recommendations are not final. It is not recommended to farm or build weapons solely based on information before Vesna's release. Recommendations below are only speculative.

Listed below are Vesna's best weapons. While weapons are listed in a priority order, what's best to build on your Vesna can vary depending on the team composition and level of investment you want to put into Vesna.

Each time the equipping character uses their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, they gain one of the following three effects in sequence:
Winds of Devotion: Increases the equipping character's CRIT DMG by 48% / 62% / 76% / 90% / 104% for 10s;
Winds of Defiance: Increases Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt by the equipping character by 28% / 35% / 42% / 49% / 56% for 10s; and
Winds of Plenty: Regenerates for the equipping character 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 Elemental Energy.

When the equipping character hits an opponent with their Elemental Skill, they gain "Lake-Hued Lament": ATK increases by 8% / 10% / 12% / 14% / 16% for 8s. This effect can trigger once every 0.1s. Max 3 stacks, and each stack's duration is independent. At 3 stacks, the CRIT DMG of any Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG caused by the equipping character is increased by 50% / 65% / 80% / 95% / 110%, and triggering Stellar Glimmer reactions or Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG will also restore 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 Elemental Energy to the character. This Energy recovery effect can trigger once every 3.5s. Can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field.

When the equipping character hits the opponent with an attack within 12s after using the Elemental Skill, they gain the "Verdant" effect, which increases their ATK by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% / 8% and their Elemental Mastery by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40. This effect lasts 6s and can trigger once every second. Max 3 stacks. The aforementioned effects can still trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field.
Radiance: Stellar Glimmer: The effect of "Verdant" is changed to: Increases ATK by 6% / 7.5% / 9% / 10.5% / 12% as well as Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by the equipping character by 8% / 10% / 12% / 14% / 16%.

Triggering an Elemental Reaction increases the equipping character's ATK by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% for 12s. Triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction increases their Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% for 12s. The aforementioned effects can trigger even when the character is not on the field.

Increases Elemental Mastery by 52 / 65 / 78 / 91 / 104 for 12s after Elemental Skill use. Max 2 stacks, and each stack's duration is independent of the others.

Best Artifacts for Vesna

2-Piece Set: ATK +18%.

4-Piece Set: Increases the equipping character's CRIT Rate by 16%, and their Stellar Swirl reaction dealt by 40%, for 10s after they trigger a Stellar Swirl reaction.

Viridescent Venerer

Viridescent Venerer

2-Piece Set: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%

4-Piece Set: Increases Swirl reaction DMG dealt by 60%, and Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt by 20%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s. Upon triggering a Stellar Swirl in the opponent, will also decrease their Cryo RES by 40%. RES debuffs of the same elemental type do not stack.

Vesna's Stat Priority

: ATK % > Elemental Mastery

: ATK % > Elemental Mastery

: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG

Substats: CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK % >= Elemental Mastery > Energy Recharge

As Vesna is a Stellar-Swirl DMG dealer, CRIT Rate/DMG, ATK, and Elemental Mastery will likely be her best stats, with CRIT being the highest priority stat, followed by ATK and EM. ATK and Elemental Mastery are both very close in DMG in Stellar-Swirl teams, which could make the best option dependent on the exact team composition and weapon.

Generally, going for 2 ATK % main stats is slightly better. However, with weapons that provide large amounts of ATK %, a single Elemental Mastery and Attack main stat can be a marginally better option. You could also opt to use whichever piece has the better substats.

Recommended Stats for Vesna

Build recommendations assume a "decently built" level of artifact rolls alongside Vesna's best weapon. Using other weapons may increase or decrease certain stats relative to these recommendations.

With the Scarlet Proof artifact set, Vesna already gains an additional 16% CRIT Rate, which can set the maximum required CRIT Rate to 84% as to not overcap. When used with 2 other Cryo, an additional 15% CRIT Rate can be gained through the Cryo Resonance, further decreasing CRIT Rate targets.

Vesna's Talent Priority

Vesna deals Stellar-Swirl DMG through her Elemental Skill The Art of Victory and Elemental Burst For the Tsaritsa!, and therefore these talents will likely be her main leveling priority.

Vesna's Elemental Skill The Art of Victory can infuse her Normal Attacks Vila Blade Dance with Anemo. However, Vesna cannot deal direct Stellar-Swirl DMG through her Normal Attacks. Instead, her Normal Attacks will likely be used more so for on-field Anemo application.

How to Play Vesna

Vesna can deal direct Stellar Swirl damage by entering the Armed for Action mode through her Elemental skill The Art of Victory. During Armed for Action, Vesna gains 2 stacks of Sword Essence and Normal Attacks are infused with Anemo that cannot be overridden.

Sword Essence is a resource that allows Vesna to use her special Elemental Skill Windborne Sword during the Armed for Action mode.

Sword Essence can be accumulated by using:

• Normal Attacks
• Elemental Burst
• Special Elemental Skill Windborne Sword

Vesna starts with 2 stacks in the Armed for Action mode.

Each use of Windborne Sword consumes 1 stack, and upgrades the damage of Windborne Sword, starting from level 1, to the next level up to 3. With level 2 & 3, a Spirit Blade is summoned and deals Direct Stellar-Swirl damage, with the most damage being at level 3.

The Armed for Action mode lasts for up to 15s, or after 3 level 3 Windborne Swords have been used. (Essentially allows 5 casts of Vesna's skill during Armed for Action).

Vesna's Elemental Burst For the Tsaritsa! also summons a Spirit Blade to deal Direct Stellar Swirl damage. As Vesna's Elemental Burst regenerates Sword Essence, it can be used during Armed for Action mode to upgrade Windborne Sword level and stack her first passive Rite of Spring's Procession.
