How Does the Gacha Work in Neverness to Everness?

There are two different gacha systems in Neverness to Everness: One for characters, split into a standard and a limited banner, and a second one for weapon pulls only, which are called Arcs in NTE.

In order to pull on the character banners, you will need Fabricated Dice for the Standard banner, or Solid Dice for the limited banner. Weapon pulls are done via Tri-Key instead, and you can only do 10-pulls for weapons, no singles allowed.

The character gacha in Neverness to Everness is visualized as a Monopoly-style board, where you use your pull currency, which are dice, to move around the board. You will get the reward of each tile you land on, but you have no control over the dice-roll outcome. The board changes once you reach soft-pity, greatly increasing the chance of getting an S-Rank character, at which point it resets back to its original version.

How Does The Limited Banner in Neverness to Everness Work?

The Limited Banner in Neverness to Everness is quite simple:

  • There is a soft-pity at 70 pulls, and a hard-pity at 90 pulls.
  • There is NO 50:50. You get the limited character guaranteed after at most 90 pulls.
  • Base rate for character as as follows:
    • S-Rank: 0.99%
    • A-Rank: 11,67%
  • The above S-Rank rate changes to 19.59% once you hit soft pity.

Gacha Skins

The limited banner not only offers the character itself, but you can also acquire skins for your glider or the character itself through the gacha. You can earn them either by landing on their respective tile on the board, or by reaching a certain pull amount, at which point you automatically gain the skin.

4.

Pity

Pity works a bit differently in Neverness to Everness, due to the gameboard-style of the gacha. Once you reach 70 pulls without an S-Rank, the board will change and every 5-6 tiles will turn into an S-Rank tile, until you land on one. Instead of the chance of gaining an S-Rank character slowly rising like in many other games, it immediately jumps to ~20%, until you acquire the next S-Rank character.

Pity Carryover

Pity carries over across banners, although this is limited to the actual character pity. If you did 40 pulls on a banner, then you will be 40/90 on the next banner for acquiring the character. The pity for the skins, however, is limited to each individual Skin.

Pity Example
  • You did 40 pulls on Nanally's banner, without getting an S-Rank, or any of the skins.
  • You have 40/90 pity for a character, 40/50 pity for the glider skin, 40/120 for the car skin, and 40/200 for the character skin.
  • The banner switches over to the next character, i.e. Hotori, alongside new skins.
  • You are now 40/90 on the pity towards acquiring Hotori, but your pity for the new skins will begin at 0.
  • Once the skins you previously built pity for return, you will already be at 40 pity for them!

Beginner Banner

During the last Co-Ex Beta test, there was no Beginner banner. However, once you did 50 pulls on the standard banner using Fabricated Dice, you were able to pick a character of your choosing via a character selector. The first 50 pulls were also discounted, essentially being only 40 pulls instead. Even if you got a character early, the selector remains.

If this system stays the same for the game's official launch, it is highly recommended to keep pulling on the standard banner until you get at least one S-Rank, before using your selector.

Arcs (Weapons) in NTE

Arcs are the weapons in Neverness to Everness, and you acquire them separately from the regular character gacha. You can acquire the pull currency for Arcs, Tri-Key, through a variety of activities, events, and account progression.

You can only pull 10 Arcs at once, with a soft-pity at 60 (so 6 pulls total), at which point you will receive a guaranteed S-Rank Arc. You have a 25% chance for this to be the limited Arc that is the signature weapon for the currently active limited character, and if you end up not receiving it after 60 pulls, you will get it guaranteed within the next 20. Even in the worst case, you will be receiving both a standard S-Rank Arc, and the limited character Arc, after 80 pulls.
