Ben Bigger's Best W-Engines

Spring Embrace

Hot Spring Soup
Reduces DMG taken by 7.5/8.5/9.5/10.5/12%. When attacked, the equipper's Energy Generation Rate increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 12s. When the equipper switches off-field, this buff will be transferred to the new on-field character with its duration refreshed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Big Cylinder

Ten Ton Top
Reduces DMG taken by 7.5/8.5/9.5/10.5/12%. After being attacked, the next attack to hit an enemy will trigger a critical hit and deal 600/690/780/870/960% of the equipper's DEF as additional DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 7.5s.

Reel Projector

Flash Engraving
When a squad member's HP is greater than or equal to 50%, they take 7.5/8.6/9.7/10.8/12% less DMG, and 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% less Miasma Contamination. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.

Original Transmorpher

Starlight Knight Flying Kick
Increases Max HP by 8/9/10/11/12.5%. When attacked, the equipper's Impact is increased by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 12s.

Increases Max HP by 8/9.2/10.4/11.6/12.8%. Increases the equipper's ATK by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% when they are shielded.

Best Drive Discs for Ben Bigger

Swing Jazz

2-Piece Set: Energy Regen +20%
4-Piece Set: Launching a Chain Attack or Ultimate increases all squad members' DMG by 15% for 12s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Proto Punk

2-Piece Set: Ice DMG +10%
4-Piece Set: Increase the DMG of Basic Attack and Dash Attack by 20%. When any squad member inflicts Freeze or Shatter, this effect increases by an additional 20% for 12s.

Ben Bigger's Stat Priority

Generally speaking, you want to stack as much DEF as you can on your Ben however you may opt for additional Impact % or Energy Regen if you find it to be useful.

Ben Bigger's Skill Priority

Ben's most important skills to level are his Core, EX Special Attack, Ultimate and Assist.

How to Play Ben Bigger

Ben Bigger functions as a defensive support character. His gameplay centers around applying mitigative shields to himself and teammates, as well as powerful parry damage scaling off his DEF stat.

Ben scales off his DEF stat. This is seen in both his ATK, scaling off 40% of his DEF stat, and his shields, scaling off of his DEF stat. This is further demonstrated when looking at Ben's 2nd Mindscape, Offense Through Defense, which allows his Block Counters to deal a massive amount of damage scaling with a 300% bonus from his DEF stat. All of this cumulates into a defensive-focused build for Ben.

Rather than dodge, Ben is perfectly capable of defending himself and standing in strong enemy attacks due to being invulnerable when activating Block with a Special Attack. This shielding can be further improved by pairing Ben with another Fire Agent or an Agent from Belobog Heavy Industries, boosting CRIT Rate by 16%!

Overall, this furry friend is quite the tank; don't let his sturdiness fool you though, he's capable of dishing out high amounts of damage on his own. Ben Bigger is also currently one of only a small handful of Defensive characters making him very valuable in more recently released endgame content which hits a lot harder.

Ben Bigger's Best Mindscapes

Many of Ben's Mindscapes simply help to either increase his own DMG or to reduce enemy damage. Neither of which are very significant to your overall build. Wild Spirit (M6) however is different, this increases Daze inflicted by Basic Attacks, Dash Attacks and Dodge Counters by 20% which changes his build to instead make Ben a pseudo-stun character.
