Claret Guide & Best Builds
Welcome to our Claret build guide for Zenless Zone Zero. Claret is an S-Rank Electric Main DPS Agent who deals great damage in bursts while supporting her team with strong buffs. In our guide, we will cover everything you need to know to get the most out of Claret. Here you will learn to build her Drive Discs and choose her ideal W-Engines, and understand her unique stat priorities.
Claret's Best W-Engines
Listed below are Claret's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, what's best to build on your Claret can change depending on the resources you plan to invest.
Because Claret is an Armorer Agent, she does not have many W-Engine options.
Crimson Thirst
The equipper's CRIT Rate increases by 25%; Electric DMG increases by 15%; when the equipper launches an [EX Special Attack] or triggers [Maim], the Electric Sharp DMG dealt increases by 15%, lasting 40s, repeated triggers reset the duration.
Catty Luck
DEF increases by 8/9/10/11/12%; when casting [EX Special Attack], DEF additionally increases by 8/9/10/11/12% for 15 sec. Repeated triggers reset the duration.
Best Drive Discs for Claret
Thorned Rose
4-Piece Set: The equipper's DMG increases by 15%. When the equipper's initial DEF is at least 1,000/1,800, CRIT Rate increases by 8/16%.
2-Piece Recommendations include:
- Woodpecker Electro
- Soul Rock
- Puffer Electro
- Thunder Metal
Claret's Stat Priority
Claret scales heavily off of both DEF % and CRIT Rate, but not CRIT DMG. Instead of a CRIT DMG modifier, she utilizes Laceration DMG. This is because she uniquely deals Sharp DMG once her CRIT Rate exceeds 100%. You can think of this damage as a double CRIT, allowing her to CRIT off her own CRITs for increased damage. Exceeding 100% CRIT Rate is, therefore, integral to her kit and should be prioritized.
The Laceration DMG multiplier is strictly Armorer-exclusive and is fixed, meaning it cannot be changed through any means. It does, however, have two different multipliers depending on whether a hit was a standard CRIT or a "double" CRIT.
If a hit lands as a standard CRIT, then the Laceration DMG multiplier is 150%. If a hit lands as a double CRIT, then the Laceration DMG multiplier is 300%.
Claret's Skill Priority
Claret uses most of her moveset, so her most important skills to level are her Core Skill, EX Special Attack, Basic Attack and her Ultimate.
