You can either choose a Defensive ( Holy Freeze) or Offensive ( Might) Act 2 Nightmare Mercenary here depending on if you want a slower and safer pace, or want your Mercenary to have added damage to help take care of Light immunes. We prefer a Holy Freeze mercenary.

This is one of the best Mercenary Gear setups for your Character.

• Weapon: Ethereal Infinity unless wielding it yourself, then use Insight to help with Mana.
• Body Armor: Ethereal Fortitude or Chains of Honor if needing Lifesteal while using Cure for the Helmet.
• Helm: Ethereal Andariel's Visage socketed with a Ral Rune or Cure if running Energy Shield.

This is a cheap gear set to get your Mercenary some easy damage and survivability.
