The Plague card for Shaman has been revealed on Twitter, the third of four cards to be revealed as rewards for the FIRE FEST-E.V.I.L. community challenge.

The Plague card for Shaman has been revealed by the Hearthstone Twitter account: Plague of Murlocs!

Plague of Murlocs

This is the third card revealed as part of the FIRE FEST-E.V.I.L. community challenge. That means that in just five days, the Hearthstone playerbase has defeated around 19 millionBlackrock Crash bosses. Give yourselves a collective pat on the back. Don't stop just yet though; a fourth and final card will be revealed at 25 million boss wins (and this last one will be a Legendary).

Plague of Murlocs itself is a pretty powerful-looking card. Shaman can't answer Mountain Giant + Conjurer's Calling with any real consistency right now, so this seems like a welcome answer - although it won't do much against opponents who are playing, well, Murloc Shaman. It could even be a buff to your own board in a pinch, since random Murlocs are probably better than Totems and 1/1s.

Check out our Saviors of Uldum Hub to catch up on this weekend's other new card reveals, including yesterday's trio of 1-Health Paladin Minions.

I would totally use this in my Murloc Shaman. It can not only be used to weaken the board for your opponents, but you have some murlocs who're weakened and just need one bash to die? Boom! Fresh set of murlocs. It can even be used to make those useless totems into something valuable. Big fan. 🙂

This is extremely strong.   It flat out breaks the mage deck, also really hurts the mech decks (paladin/hunter) when they try to build their giant frankenstein monster.     At the same time it's good to combo your own deck if you have a lot of surplus minions or 1/1 bots from whatever source.

Seems very cheap for such a massive effect. I realize there's a lot of random involved, but that's pretty much the same for Brawl, yet that card costs 5 mana.

The card isn't too good that's why cost 3 mana since it doesn't KILL anything you just transform them in RANDOM minions so you need to combo this with a Lightning Storm or... just use Hagatha's Scheme and solve your problems once for all with no efforts saving yourself from RNG cards.

Brawl is much stronger since it's guaranteed to almost wipe the board and with RNG you can have your single 1/1 survive while wiping the enemy minions. This card is not even comparable in terms of power

This also transform your minions so maybe is considerable for use to transform a bunch of hero powers in something useful while transforming a single/couple enemy bigger minions especially DR effects but if you have nothing a Hex is vastly superior since it will always transform in a 0/1 instead of something surely more problematic

If you transform some enemy in a Murloc Warleader with this card you gonna die instantly even if the others have 1 atk.

Hagatha's Scheme is very consistent despite what the topic says since that mage combo come out very late in the game your scheme easily deal 8 dmg by that turn... yes you have to keep it in hand but you can easily predict that since you see the mage face in the start of the game so there is no surprise if he tries that combo... also works with warlock you keep a Twisting Nether in the opening hand and your mage opponent will concede after you wipe his Khadgar moment of glory.

Excuse my ignorance but what are you talking about?

It all depends on how many minions your opponent has. If they have a full board then surely you don't want to take the risk. Clearly Plague of Murlocs is intended to be played when you have a lot of small minions and your opponent has only a few large (or otherwise problematic) minions.

Hagatha's Scheme is very strong, no question about that. However it really only works in Control Shaman and Big Shaman. It doesn't work in Murloc Shaman nor Aggro Shaman because you totally rely on your own board to win quickly. Even if you had the card in your hand at turn 1, by the time you reach turn 8 and the spell would be able to kill the Mage's giants, you are supposed to have won already. As a matter of fact these decks do not include Hagatha's Scheme yet they have a very good win rate against Mage.

To be honest I'm not sure what deck type this new card would fit in in practice. We'll see. If it sees play then we might see Hungry Crab too.

There's those weird things that happen when a minion with a little death's head in the bottom of the oval dies, things you'd rather avoid for the most part...

Blizzard released the 17.2.2 client patch for Hearthstone to fix a bug related to the closed shop that occurred due to a missing runtime dependency.
      (Source)
We’re currently in the process of deploying a 17.2.2 client patch that will address the following items:
Fixed a bug that would cause a crash on mobile when clicking the eye to see who is spectating. Fixed a few various issues that would lock the game state when playing certain cards from hand. Fixed a bug where some players in Europe were only given the option of Warrior as their free deck after graduating the new player ranks. Fixed a bug where the shop would be closed when launching Hearthstone due to a missing runtime dependency. If the shop is still closed after updating to 17.2.2, try swapping to another region on the launcher and swapping back before opening Hearthstone again.
The incorrect Mana display bug for mobile users will be fixed in the next update.

Any updates on when the incorrect mana bug for mobile players will be fixed?
Hey! This will be fixed in our next major update.

A new blog post has been released, detailing a dozen card changes coming to the game on Monday 18th of May.
Shaman is getting some much needed help, since three of its cards will be buffed - although it is debatable if these buffs will be enough to move the class out of the bottom.
As far as the nerfs are concerned, two more Demon Hunter cards (who would have thought?) are getting toned down. Scavenger's Ingenuity, Shadowjeweler Hanar, Blackjack Stunner, Imprisoned Scrap Imp, Bloodboil Brute, Bloodsworn Mercenary are also getting tweaked.
Nerfed cards will be eligible for a refund until June 1st.
The patch also brings a bug fix for Ethereal Conjurer, which was causing the game to lock by not offering any Discover options.
Don't forget you can grab a free Nemsy until May 19, as part of Patch 17.2.0.
      Blizzard Entertainment
