Is it just me or is the character customization not finished for all races? Look at the Tauren for example. They still have the same face choices. The only race with new face options so far are Humans. Does that mean that more will be added during SL?

I don't plan to use heirlooms to be honest, they are rather *filtered* and utterly useless now....the set bonuses are crap and will only be seen as useful to casual players who actually get a decent amount of rest xp, i never get any, or hardly any and the explosion on level up is useless too, since you tend to level 90% of the time in town and not when fighting.

I would suggest increasing stats by 10% or something, that way it would be useful, otherwise, when pre-patch goes live, heirlooms will not really be used at all.

Why would you need increaed stats by 10% ? Heirlooms are already very well stated for their item level, it's already a bonus in itself

I truly believe we will have the answers on Aug 27th. I think we will see prepatch on Sept 15th, and Shadowlands on Oct 20th. Knowing how Blizzard works and how much of a *filtered* show every release has been, that released during a holiday month, they wont do it again. BFA is already going to be the longest running Expansion in the history of WoW. Next closest was 2yr and 19 days if I recall correctly. Not to mention they are are hemorrhaging  subscriptions atm, they want to get people back in the game.

Nah, with the Gold i paid to upgrade it, it should be better than it is....cause the set bonuses it has in the PTR and the beta is rubbish....an insult actually. it could have a 2% stat increase per 2-piece up to 10%...then it would be cool until you replace them at the higher levels.

Also, i have seen quest rewards better, that is the problem, heirlooms should be better while leveling up....alot better than they are right now.

Kul Tirans got no new customizations either, as far as I can tell.

Agree on the stats side, they do seem a little rubbish, more like greens than blues... but the gold payment thing is a fallacy for most. We paid for looms as they were, and got a fair chunk of use out of them. Multiple times for most of them too if you've played across multiple expansions. Now that xp bonus is baked into the game essentially, making levelling quicker for all and the purpose of hierlooms shifts from xp gainz to QoL change only. You can keep a tmog the whole way now, or not have to worry about finding and replacing gear all the time.

The set bonuses are shite but they might be altered (read doubt they will be), but they're still useful. My biggest gripe in truth is they still need upgrading... at this point in time that's a waste, just inc the cost of looms and have them go 1-50 as a base.

I am gonna stick with my original thought, which is 'they will suck in the expansion.'

I would even go a step further and claim that no allied race got new costumizations. Apart from the bald hairstyle for females, which everyone got of course.

They probably thought that these races are still pretty new and may not need an update yet. Not sure I'd agree though, as High Mountain Tauren, for example, now seem really bland when compared to their brethren from Kalimdor. ?

But hey, there's still time. Maybe they add a few things for the allied races as well yet.

But all races are getting stuff like tattoos and other *filtered*. Kul Tirans sure could benefit from fancy stuff like that. Seafare-themed tattoos and earrings would be awesome.

Hi.  After this weekly reset there's no sign of another Shadowlands  convenant  shot movie, so I presume this means one week delay in pre patch launch. We still have 2 shorts to see so, imho, we might see the pre patch overlaping Octoberfest so that the zombie invasion hit in a moment of  crowding in big cities for the yearly beer fest.
What do you think?

Orc Shoulders appear to have been fixed in Dragonflight Alpha. On retail, there's a visible gap between shoulders and arms which has been removed on the Alpha.
Reddit user TehWurrior posted a side-by-side comparison of the fix. Notice the removed gap between the fur and shoulders in the second to last image.

It appears you won't be able to roll for loot you already own in Dragonflight, only if it's a more powerful version of that item.
A new global string that appeared in Dragonflight Alpha Build 45141 suggests players will be ineligible to roll for items they already own unless the item is of higher quality.
LOOT_ROLL_INELIGIBLE_REASON6 - You already have a powerful version of this item. What do you think about the change? Let us know down in the comments!

Fated Sepulcher is open this week and each boss has a different affix! In this post, we outline the Fated affixes available this week.
This is the first week you can get the Jigglesworth Sr. if you've completed Fated Castle Nathria and Sanctum of Domination!

Fated Raid Affixes in Shadowlands Season 4
Season 4 introduces the following Fated affixes that are active inside Fated raids.
Fated Power: Chaotic Essence - Summons a Chaotic Essence which casts Chaotic Destruction, inflicting 100 Cosmic damage to all players if successful. Upon interaction, the essence becomes hostile and instead continuously manifests Chaotic Motes. These motes channel 2 Cosmic damage into targeted players every 0.5 sec. for 3 sec. When defeated each mote splits into additional motes. After 15 sec the Chaotic Essence dissipates, granting all players 2% increased damage done, 2% increased healing done, and 2% absorbs done for 25 sec. This effect stacks for each Chaotic Mote slain. Spawns a Chaotic Essence which spawns Chaotic Motes when you interact with it. The more motes you kill the more will spawn providing you with a powerful stacking buff that increases damage, healing done, and absorbs. Fated Power: Creation Spark -  Charges a player, inflicting 3 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. for 30 sec. This effect stacks. Upon removal this charge jettisons Creation Sparks to nearby locations, infusing players within 0 yards of the impact location, increasing the flow of time by 10%, increasing casting, attack speed, cooldown recharge rate, and periodic tick rates and additionally increasing movement speed by 40% for 25 sec. Players get a debuff that spawns pools on the ground when dispelled. You must soak these pools to receive a raid buff. Fated Power: Protoform Barrier - Empowers the caster, inflicting 1 Cosmic damage to all players every 3 sec. Upon removal this barrier manifests as one attackable enemy, casting a shared 400 absorb shield with all other enemies for 15 sec. A second unit manifests that also can be healed to reduce the shared shield. Upon expiration the barrier explodes, inflicting 50 Cosmic damage and an additional 5 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. to all players for 8 sec. If broken this effect backfires, inflicting all damage done to each enemy during the barrier as Cosmic damage, and additionally grants all players up to 25% increased damage done, 25% healing done, and 25% increased absorbs done for 40 sec. The power revolves around a shield that you must DPS down quickly for a raid buff. Healers can instead heal a unit to be granted the buff. Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter - Manifests an attackable enemy which continuously casts. This enemy remains immune to damage until the first successful cast or interrupt. Successful casts inflict 30 Cosmic damage to all players. Upon defeat this enemy infuses all players with power based on the energy level of the emitter, increasing mastery by up to 10, critical strike chance by up to 15%, versatility by up to 15%, and avoidance by up to 8. Spawns an add that must be interrupted and killed for a raid buff. Fated Affixes in Sepulcher of the First Ones in Shadowlands Season 4
With Fated Sepulcher available this week, each boss has a different Fated affix tied to it. You'll find a list of raid bosses and their affixes below.
Vigilant Guardian -- Fated Power: Creation Spark; Skolex, the Insatiable Ravener -- Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter; Artificer Xy'mox -- Fated Power: Protoform Barrier; Halondrus the Reclaimer -- Fated Power: Chaotic Essence; Dausegne, the Fallen Oracle -- Fated Power: Protoform Barrier; Prototype Pantheon -- Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter; Lihuvim, Principal Architect -- Fated Power: Creation Spark; Anduin Wrynn -- Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter; Lords of Dread -- Fated Power: Protoform Barrier; Rygelon -- Fated Power: Chaotic Essence; The Jailer -- Fated Power: Creation Spark.

Demon Hunters are the only remaining class that didn't receive new talent trees on the Dragonflight Alpha. With all zones being available for testing currently on the Alpha, Closed Beta may begin as soon as next week. We should also hear more about the Dragonflight pre-patch in the near future.
When Dragonflight Alpha testing began on July 14, 2022, Blizzard said Alpha would have multiple stages of testing.
      (Source)
Full details on the following phases will be shared as we get closer to them, but here are the current plans for the zones:
Phase 2 Zone Experience: The Forbidden Reach Phase 3 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Waking Shores Phase 4 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Thaldraszus Phase 5 Zone Experiences: The Forbidden Reach and Ohn’ahran Plain Phase 6+ All zones are expected to be playable The sixth phase is currently ongoing, and for the first time, Build 45141 makes every zone available for testing.
Demon Hunters are the only class that didn't receive new talent trees yet, but that's hopefully changing with next week's update. Alpha currently contains templates for both leveling and max-level testing, which gives us a solid reason to believe that Closed Beta is well...close!
The unconfirmed leaked internal spreadsheet from yesterday contains a supposed release date of the Dragonflight pre-patch. If the pre-patch release is planned for October 25, 2022, we should also see it hit Public Test Realms soon, maybe when Blizzard announces Closed Beta.

When do you think we'll learn more about the pre-patch? Let us know in the comments!
