Skirk's Best Teams & Character Synergies
Welcome to our Skirk team composition guide and character synergy overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we cover Skirk’s best teams and synergies, including premium options featuring Escoffier and Furina, as well as F2P-friendly alternatives using characters like Xingqiu, Mona, Candace, Dahlia, and more.
Best Pairings and Synergies With Skirk
Skirk is primarily played in teams focused on Cryo and Hydro. This is because her passive, Return to Oblivion, strongly rewards running Hydro/Cryo teammates and can result in notable damage loss when adding non-Hydro/Cryo characters. This team restriction is very similar to Escoffier’s passive requirements, which is why these two characters naturally pair extremely well.
Escoffier is the single best support you can get for Skirk when aiming to maximize her damage. In full Hydro/Cryo teams, Escoffier provides powerful resistance reduction for both Hydro and Cryo, increasing the entire team’s damage significantly. She also synergizes very well with units like Furina thanks to her healing, which helps maintain buffs and keeps the team stable during longer fights.
Escoffier is currently Skirk’s best-in-slot support and one of the strongest Freeze enablers in the game. She provides consistent off-field application, healing, and powerful resistance reduction in Hydro/Cryo teams, making her the perfect partner for Skirk’s passive requirements and overall damage output.
Yelan is one of Skirk’s best premium Hydro partners, providing consistent off-field Hydro application and very high personal damage to push overall team DPS higher.
Shenhe is a premium Cryo buffer that can significantly increase Skirk’s damage through Cryo amplification tools such as Icy Quill and Cryo RES Shred. She is strongest in higher investment Freeze teams focused on maximizing Skirk’s personal damage.
Citlali is another excellent option, as she is one of the few characters that can hold the Cinder City artifact set while also using Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers to provide both a large damage bonus and an ATK buff for Skirk. On top of this, she also provides a strong shield, improving team survivability.
