Remielle Dan Guide and Best Builds
Remielle Dan Guide & Best Builds
Welcome to our Remielle Dan build guide for Zenless Zone Zero. Remielle Dan is a Void Hunter S-Rank Lumiflux Agent who provides support effects to Anomaly teams while also acting as a sub-DPS. In our guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Remielle, from building the best Drive Discs and W-Engines to important stat priorities and combos.
Remielle Dan's Best W-Engines
Listed below are Remielle Dan's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in priority order, the best choice for your Remielle can vary based on your exact team composition and playstyle.
Ode of Resurrected Wings
Increases Anomaly Proficiency by 96/105/115/125/135. When the equipper triggers a Refringe reaction, they gain 20/23/26/29/32% increased Anomaly DMG, and all squad members gain 30/34.5/39/43.5/48% increased DMG dealt. Both effects last 30s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.
Weeping Gemini
Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30/34/38/42/48, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.
Timeweaver
The equipper's Electric Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 30/35/40/45/50%. When Special Attacks or EX Special Attacks hit enemies suffering an Attribute Anomaly, the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency increases by 75/85/95/105/115 for 15s.
When the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency is greater than or equal to 375, Disorder DMG inflicted by the equipper increases by 25/27.5/30/32.5/35%.
Flamemaker Shaker
While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/0.75/0.9/1.05/1.2/s. When hitting an enemy with an EX Special Attack or Assist Attack, the equipper's DMG increases by 3.5/4.4/5.2/6.1/7%, stacking up to 10 times and lasting for 6s. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s. While off-field, the stack effect is doubled. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Upon obtaining the DMG increase effect, if the number of current stacks is greater than or equal to 5, then the equipper's Anomaly Proficiency increases by 50/62/75/87/100. This Anomaly Proficiency increase does not stack and lasts for 6s.
Practiced Perfection
The equipper's Anomaly Mastery increases by 60/69/78/87/96. When inflicting Assault, the equipper's Physical DMG increases by 20/23/26/29/32% for 20s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. When the equipper enters combat, immediately gain 2 stacks.
Electro-Lip Gloss
When there are enemies inflicted with Attribute Anomaly on the field, the equipper's ATK increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% and they deal an additional 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% more DMG to the target.

Best Drive Discs for Remielle Dan
Remielle Dan's best Drive Disc option is usually going to be Feathered Fate, and by a decent margin. This is Remielle's only real option, as other Drive Disc sets are Attribute-specific and may require certain team comps, which are likely still behind Feathered Fate.
Remielle's special Lumiflux Attribute can deal DMG that counts as the Attribute type of the next Agent in your squad. As such, Drive Discs that increase Attribute DMG can rank differently based on your squad.
Feathered Fate
4-Piece Set: When the equipper enters the battlefield or is switched in as the active character, they gain the following buff: Anomaly Proficiency increases by 50. If the equipper is a Lumiflux character, Attribute Anomaly DMG increases by 15%, lasting 15s.
This buff remains active while the equipper is off-field.
2-Piece Recommendations include:
- Astral Voice - Any ATK%
- Freedom Blues - Any AP
2-Piece Drive Disc Set
Remielle Dan's best 2-piece set option is either an ATK set, such as Astral Voice or Hormone Punk, to increase Remielle's ATK buff, or an Anomaly Proficiency set like Chaos Jazz or Freedom Blues to increase her Luminize DMG and Refringe Multiplier. Both options are pretty close, and you should probably pick whichever set has the best sub-stats.
The best set to use can also depend on your W-Engine, although the difference is marginal (around 1% for most W-Engines). With W-Engines that provide ATK, such as Practiced Perfection, an Anomaly Proficiency 2-piece set is fractionally better. For W-Engines that provide Anomaly Proficiency, such as Flight of Fancy, an ATK% 2-piece set is fractionally better.
This can be observed with Remielle's signature W-Engine, Ode of Resurrected Wings, which provides ATK%.
| 2-pc Drive Disc | DPS | % of Baseline |
|---|---|---|
| Chaos Jazz / Freedom Blues (30 AP) | 400,393 | 121% |
| Astral Voice / Hormone Punk (10% ATK) | 395,589 | 101% |
Remielle Dan's Stat Priority
Remielle Dan scales with ATK% and Anomaly Proficiency. Anomaly Proficiency increases Remielle's Refringe Multiplier, which increases squad members' Attribute Anomaly DMG. ATK% increases Remielle's ATK buff to party members; the buff goes up to 1,600 ATK, requiring an initial 4,000 ATK on Remielle.
Both ATK% and Anomaly Proficiency are crucial for maximizing Remielle's DMG and buffs. You generally want a good balance between ATK and AP. Reaching 4,000 ATK for the maximum buff is not a strict requirement, as it is quite a high target and might be difficult to reach.
For the Disc 4 piece, either an ATK% or Anomaly Proficiency Disc can be used, and the better option can depend on your W-Engine or whichever Disc has better substats, much like choosing a 2-piece Drive Disc Set. With ATK% W-Engines, an AP fourth partition is around 1% Better, and the same goes for AP W-Engines and ATK% fourth-partition Discs. An exception would be a P5 Weeping Gemini, which provides up to 192 Anomaly Proficiency, and it becomes slightly better to use an ATK% Disc even though Weeping Gemini provides an ATK% sub stat.
Using a fifth-slot PEN or Attribute DMG disc is possible. Although not recommended, an ATK fifth partition not only grants the team more damage but is also more consistent regardless of team comp.
Anomaly Mastery for the sixth slot is not necessary, unlike other Anomaly Agents. Remielle Dan does not build typical Attribute Anomaly Build-Up, and instead builds [Lumen Buildup Points], which are gained through some attacks.
Remielle Dan's Skill Priority
Remielle Dan's most important skills to level are her Core Skill, Assist, Basic Attacks, Ultimate, Chain Attack, and Special, in that order. Remielle's Core Skill increases the Refringe Multiplier and Luminize DMG AP bonus.
Basic Attack, Assist, and Ultimate skill levels all directly increase Remielle's Luminize damage. Her Special skill increases the DMG bonus granted to squad members while also increasing the Daze dealt from off-field. Remielle's dodge can be completely ignored as she's not going to be played on-field.
How to Play Remielle Dan
Breakdown of Remielle's Kit
Remielle Dan is a Lumiflux Anomaly Agent who is usually going to be off-field. Remielle increases squad members' ATK and Attribute Anomaly DMG, applies Daze from off-field to stun enemies, and deals large DMG through the Luminize effect.
The Lumiflux Attribute is a special Attribute. While Remielle deals Lumen DMG, she can also deal damage based on the Attribute of the next character in your squad (the Agent to the right of Remielle in the team selection screen). This means she will deal damage that counts as Lumen and the next Attribute, allowing her to be very flexible in regards to enemies' resistances and weaknesses.
Through Remielle's faction bonus, Additional Ability: Invitation to Bloom, she provides buffs based on the number of Anomaly Agents in the squad, reaching the maximum effects with 3 Anomaly Agents. Faction bonus effects are:
- Up to 1,600 ATK to all squad members. With 3 Anomaly Agents, the buff scales on 40% of Remielle's initial ATK.
- If the enemy has Lumen Buildup points, squad members' Anomaly Build-Up increases by 15%. If no Lumen Buildup points are applied, the effect will last for 8s.
- Increases Daze by Remielle when off-field. With 3 Anomaly Agents, deals 35% more Daze.
Remielle Dan has 2 main resources: Floating Radiance and Voidflare Points. Voidflare Points are granted when any squad member triggers an Attribute Anomaly against an enemy with a [Lumen Buildup Point]. When this happens, 1 Lumen Buildup point is consumed, and the Refringe Effect is triggered, increasing the Attribute Anomaly DMG based on Remielle's Refringe Coefficient scaling on her Anomaly Proficiency Core Passive: Temporal Patterns = Stilled Colors.
When at full points, Floating Radiance allows Remielle to enter the off-field stance, Special Attack: Ode to Dawn - Radiant Turn. Floating Radiance starts at full points, and can be restored through Basic Attacks, or the main way through Remielle's EBA Basic Attack: Rainbow's End or Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace.
Remielle's Off-Field Stance
Remielle Dan's off-field stance is called the Phase Flow state and counts as a Special Special Attack: Ode to Dawn - Radiant Turn.
To enter the Phase Flow state, you can either hold her , or, if her EX Special is not available, press Special, then press and hold Special to enter the Phase Flow state.
During the Phase Flow state, Remielle Dan cannot be switched into. Remielle attacks from off-field, applies [Lumen Buildup Points], and grants a DMG bonus to squad members for 60s Special Attack: Ode to Dawn - Radiant Turn. Remielle can only be switched into by using a Chain Attack. Alternatively, after gaining 3 Voidflare points, normal switch-in will be available again as well.
Using normal switch-in triggers an assist Assist: Flower & Feather Dance attack. This skill will upgrade the next use of Remielle's Enhanced Basic Attack Basic Attack: Rainbow's End to Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace, dealing more DMG. The Chain Attack entry Chain Attack: Interwoven Dance Steps also triggers the same effect.
Remielle Dan has 2 enhanced basic attacks. Basic Attack: Rainbow's End can be used by holding as long as Voidflare points are available. Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace can be used after using Remielle's Entry Skill or Chain Attack, and deals more damage. Both attacks can restore the full amount of Floating Radiance points.
Remielle's Luminize Damage
Remielle Dan's Entry Skill Assist: Flower & Feather Dance, EBA (Enhanced Basic Attack) Basic Attack: Rainbow's End & Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace, and Ultimate Ultimate: Dazzling Curtain Call deal a special type of damage called Luminize. This damage relies on the Voidflare points.
- When a squad member triggers an Attribute Anomaly, the Anomaly Effect is stored in each Voidflare point.
- When Luminize is triggered, the Attribute Anomaly DMG stored in each Voidflare point is multiplied by the skill's multiplier and Remielle's Anomaly Proficiency Core Passive: Temporal Patterns = Stilled Colors.
- Each Voidflare Point is an instance of Luminize DMG.
- Luminize DMG counts as Anomaly DMG.
- Luminize DMG is not affected by regular DMG Bonus, only Anomaly DMG%, alongside other effects such as Enemy RES and DEF.
Luminize DMG is triggered by Remielle Dan's Entry Skill , Enhanced Basic Attacks, and Ultimate . Voidflare points are only consumed by Remielle's EBA or cleared by entering the Phase Flow state. As such, when dealing DMG, Remielle's Ultimate should be used before EBA .
Remielle's Rotations
Regardless of exact team comp, Remielle Dan's out-of-stun rotation would usually start with her EX Special to enter the Phase Flow state and then trigger Anomalies with your Anomaly Agents. Once you get 3 Voidflares, you would switch into Remielle, use her upgraded EBA Basic Attack: Fleeting Grace, and then enter the Phase Flow state again.
In Deadly Assault, Phase Flow would typically be entered twice as the enemy is being stunned. The second usage of Remielle's Assist: Flower & Feather Dance and Luminize DMG attacks would be reserved for the Stun Window. With on-field agents, you would want to save up their resources towards the Stun Window.
Example Team Rotations
Below are example rotations during the stun window for multiple teams. These rotations are only examples and are not meant to be followed exactly. Manual Chain Mode is assumed to be active. If 3 Voidflares are available, switching into Remielle through the chain attack prompt will trigger her Entry Skill Assist: Flower & Feather Dance instead of Chain Attack; this would pause the stun timer, making the skill free to use in terms of stun duration.
During the Stun Window, the goal is to split the on-field time between your on-field Anomaly agent and Remielle. With no dedicated on-field agent, the rotation can become simpler.
A similar rotation can be performed with Jane Doe.
Remielle Dan's Best Mindscapes
This Mindscape ranking is calculated in a team including Remielle Dan, Velina, and Promeia. Both Remielle's M1 and M2 are her strongest mindscapes, with her M6 allowing for an on-field playstyle. Between M1 and Ode of Resurrected Wings, both provide around the same DMG increase, with Ode of Resurrected Wings being more cost-effective, and M1 opening up the path towards M2, which is another large DMG increase.
| Mindscape | Improvement from Previous | Total |
|---|---|---|
| M0 | - | 100% |
| M1 | 23% | 123% |
| M2 | 22% | 145% |
| M3 | 3% | 148% |
| M4 | 6% | 155% |
| M5 | 3% | 157% |
| M6 | 15% | 172% |
With M1 Naive Oath, Remielle Dan will gain 3 Voidflares when combat starts, and her Luminize DMG will ignore 50% of the enemy's All-Attribute resistance. Remielle's Entry Skill grants 200 Decibels. In the Phase Flow state, all squad members deal 10% more Attribute Anomaly Damage. This is a large increase to Remielle's DMG and squad members' DMG. The additional Decibels can ensure that Remielle's ULT is always ready in time for the stun window.
Mindscape 2 Fall Into the Noise increases Remielle's Refringe Coefficient by 20%. Through the prismatic effect Additional Ability: Invitation to Bloom, squad members' Anomaly DMG ignores 15% of the target's defense. Remielle will also attack faster in the Phase Flow, possibly stunning enemies even faster. Overall, M2 is a strong mindscape and a decent stopping point.
Mindscape 3 The Garden of Diverging Time & Mindscape 5 To Drink Forgetfulness are skill level increases, which also increase Remielle's Phase Flow DMG bonus to squad members and Luminize DMG.
Mindscape 4 The Long Goodbye increases Remielle's Luminize DMG, and restores the 3 Voidflares given by her M1 once used up. M4 on its own is a small DMG increase, although the Voidflare Points restoration is impactful when Remielle Dan is used on-field at Mindscape 6.
Mindscape 6 Lone Feather's Endless Flight allows Luminize to trigger twice each time Remielle uses her EBA (Enhanced Basic Attack). This on its own is an increase to team DPS. Additionally, when Remielle Dan's 4th basic attack hits an enemy, she gains 3 special Voidflares, dealing 25% of the damage dealt by the Voidflares granted by Mindscape 1. M6 essentially allows an on-field playstyle, where Remielle Dan can use her Basic Attacks to gain Voidflares and deal damage through her Enhanced Basic Attacks.
