Robin Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Robin build guide for Zenless Zone Zero. Robin is an S-Rank Defense Agent who has the ability to both shield and buff Armorer class agents, making her an important squad member for those teams. In our guide, we will cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Robin, from building the best Drive Discs and W-Engines to important stat priorities and combos.

Robin's Best W-Engines

Listed below are Robin's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, what is best to build on your Robin can vary slightly depending on your team composition.

Robin's Exclusive W-Engine
Robin Test Engine
When the equipper applies a shield, the whole squad's DEF increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 10s. Repeated triggers extend the duration, up to a maximum of 25s. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad. When the equipper launches an Aftershock, the whole squad's DMG increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 15s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers refresh the duration. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.
Robin's signature W-Engine is her best option to build around since it will give her additional HP %, and provide buffs to the team. It is also the only W-Engine that Robin can make use of that isn't entirely used as a stat stick.
Original Transmorpher
Visage of Greed
Increases Ice DMG by 15/17.5/20/22/24%. When launching an EX Special Attack, all squad members' ATK increases by 2/2.3/2.6/2.9/3.2% for 12s, stacking up to 4 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
Original Transmorpher is the only HP increasing Defense W-Engine in the game outside of Robins own signature, however there are various other stat sticks, namely all the Rupture W-Engines in the game. None of these Engines provide any benefit to Robin and the team, outside of increasing Robin's HP for the benefit of her core passive.

Best Drive Discs for Robin

Bunny in Wonderland
2-Piece Set: ATK +10%
4-Piece Set: Whenever any squad member enters the field using a Quick Assist, all squad members gain 1 stack of Astral, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of Astral increases the DMG dealt by the character entering the field using a Quick Assist by 8%. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.
Robin's best Drive Disc set is Bunny in Wonderland. This set will give Robin extra damage buffs whenever anyone does an Assist.

2-Piece Recommendations include:

Moonlight Lullaby is the recommended 2-piece because of the massive Energy Regeneration, but all these options are all very good 2-piece options for Robin's build. It mostly depends on what stats rolled on your other Discs, and what you still need between energy regen or ATK.

Robin's Stat Priority

Disc 4: HP %
Disc 5: HP %
Disc 6: Energy Regen / HP %
Substats: ATK % > ATK > Anomaly Proficiency = CRIT RATE > PEN

When building Robin, ATK and Energy Regeneration are the most important stats to focus on. You need to build around 3400+ ATK on Astra for her Core Passive. Once you reach the recommended ATK, focus on getting as much Energy Regen as possible.

Robin's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: > > > = >

Robin's most important skill to level is her Core Skill since it provides an important increased DMG buff. Just as important is her EX Special Attack as her buffs are based on her EX skill level.
