Ye Shunguang Best Team Compositions and Character Synergies

Sunna is easily part of Ye Shunguang's best team as a support agent. Sunna provides meaningful Attack buffs, and deals off-field damage scaling with the active character's stats. More importantly, Sunna can easily activate an Ether Veil by pressing her Ex-Special, which results in more Sword Force points generated compared to other Agents such as Zhao. The buffs provided alongside more frequent Ether Veils make Sunna is valuable unit to have for Ye Shunguang's teams.

Zhao is an Agent given out for free in version 2.5 of ZZZ. Zhao provides a 1,000 ATK Buff, and up to 40% DMG Bonus. Zhao is one of 2 support/defense Agent who can activate an Ether Veil and provide meaningful buffs to Ye Shunguang, allowing you to activate her faction bonus, and therefore makes activating Ye Shunguang's Enlightened State easier. While these bonuses are nice to have, they are not absolutely necessary to play Ye Shunguang either.

Dialyn is great with Ye Shunguang as she provides free ultimates, which allows Ye Shunguang to enter her Enlightened State more often. Dialyn also provides other useful buffs to Ye Shunguang by increasing DMG Dealt by 40%, and increasing enemy Stun DMG Multipliers by 30%.

If you do not have Zhao, Astra Yao is your next best option. She is almost on par with Zhao, albeit slightly weaker. Astra provides useful buffs; 1,000 ATK, 25% Crit DMG, and 20% DMG Bonus. If you do not have Dialyn, Astra Yao is also a decent alternative to use in place of a stun agent.

If you do not have Dialyn or Astra Yao you could use another Stun Agent or even a second Support/Defense Agent. Stun Agents that increase Stun DMG Multiplier such as Trigger or Qingyi can potentially be used to increase Ye Shunguang's Veil Vulnerability DMG Multiplier, however the effectiveness of this buff can depend on the specific enemy you're fighting. Trigger can also be used for her Signature W-Engine buff.

Support/Defense Agents can be used alongside Zhao or Astra Yao in place of your Stun Agent slot.

Using Seed alongside Ye Shunguang has the potential to be one of Ye Shunguang's best partner Agents due to how much damage Ye Shunguang can put out. However, splitting playtime between two Attack Agents can be a bit tricky when both want on-field time.
