Best Pairings and Synergies With Diluc
Diluc is primarily played in reaction-based teams such as Melt and Vaporize due to his consistent Pyro application. His Elemental Skill allows him to chain attacks while maintaining Pyro uptime, making him highly effective with off-field Cryo or Hydro enablers.
Diluc benefits greatly from teammates that provide ATK buffs, Elemental RES Shred, or enable consistent reactions. Buffers such as Bennett and Anemo supports with Viridescent Venerer are especially valuable for maximizing his overall damage output.
Bennett is Diluc’s best support, providing both strong ATK buffs and healing while enabling Pyro Resonance. Iansan offers a comparable ATK buff but has less reliable healing. Dehya provides damage mitigation and enables Pyro Resonance, though her overall buffing capability is lower.
Xianyun enables Diluc to spam Plunging Attacks, significantly increasing his Melt consistency. Xilonen provides strong Elemental RES Shred, making her one of the best alternatives. Sucrose and Kaedehara Kazuha provide additional buffs and RES Shred through the Viridescent Venerer set.
