Zankou Best Team Compositions

Linko is an Anima Esper who is capable of supporting Zankou as a sub attacker. Linko's Synced Strike mechanic works particularly well with Zankou, which can be activated every 8 seconds from off-field by using a redirect skill. Through her passive Precision Tuning, the enemy receives an 8% attribute resistance debuff for 8 seconds. Additionally, Linko's passive Weakness Radar buffs Follow-up Attacks from Hexed by 30%, and targets affected by Hexed take 10% more Follow-up damage. Because the bulk of Zankou's damage is considered Follow-up Attack Damage, this is quite a significant DPS boost.

Daffodill is an Chaos Esper who can assist in triggering Discord with Zankou. Daffodill serves as a sub-attacker that can quickly Break the enemy while Zankou is the main attacker who deals the finishing blow. With Zankou's A5, the team's Break DMG receives a massive multiplier, which can lead to some incredibly fast clears if you also have Daffodill at a higher Awakening level.

Lacrimosa is an Chaos Esper who can serve as an off-field sub DPS who deals damage through her DoTs and builds towards creating the Discord Esper Cycle Reaction. Since Zankou is building additional Scorch stacks whenever a DoT is applied, Lacrimosa serves as a nice vehicle to ensure maximum Scorch-stack uptime thanks to her constant DoT applications.

Sakiri is an Incantation Esper who is also the best support for Zankou. Zankou deals a big chunk of her damage through the Heartwrench DoT, and Sakiri's Can I Eat This? Support Skill amplifies DoT damage by a maximum of 100% while the enemy is in the Scorch state. This compensates for the fact that Sakiri's other buff is from her Ultimate, which has a rather high energy requirement.
