Welcome to our Sigrid build guide for Zenless Zone Zero. Sigrid is a powerful S-Rank Ice Attack Agent who is designed to be an On-field Main DPS. In our guide, we will cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Sigrid, from building the best Drive Discs and W-Engines to important stat priorities and combos.

Sigrid's kit is currently based on beta information and remains subject to change before release, so Sigrid's build options may change over time.

Sigrid's Best W-Engines

Listed below are Sigrid's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, what is best for your Sigrid can vary slightly depending on your team composition.

Knight's Extolment

Knight's Rite
When the equipper's Basic Attack or EX Special Attack's heavy attack hits an enemy, they gain 1 stack of Battle Edge, increasing CRIT DMG by 32/36.8/41.6/46.4/51.2% for 25s. Battle Edge can stack up to 2 times, and each skill type can provide up to 1 stack. Repeated triggers refresh the duration of all Battle Edge.
At 2 stacks of Battle Edge, the equipper gains Bonechill: Their DMG ignores 20/23/26/29/32% of the target's Ice RES.

Deep Sea Visitor

Lord of Seas
Increases Ice DMG by 25/31.5/38/44.5/50%. Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, the equipper's CRIT Rate increases by 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 8s. When dealing Ice DMG with a Dash Attack, the equipper's CRIT Rate increases by an additional 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% for 15s. The duration of each effect is calculated separately.

Myriad Eclipse

False Personas
Increases CRIT DMG by 45/51.75/58.5/65.25/72%. When using an EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate to deal Ice DMG, the equipper gains the Absolute Zero Death Sentence effect for 3s. While Absolute Zero Death Sentence is active, the character ignores 25/28.75/32.5/36.25/40% of the enemy's DEF when landing a hit.

Cannon Rotor

Oversized Barrel
Increases ATK by 7.5/8.6/9.7/10.8/12%. Landing a critical hit on an enemy will inflict an additional 200% of ATK as DMG. This effect can trigger once every 8/7.5/7/6.5/6s.

Marcato Desire

Get Everyone Fired Up
When an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack hits an enemy, the equipper's ATK increases by 6/6.9/7.8/8.7/9.6% for 8s. While the target is under an Attribute Anomaly, this effect is increased by an additional 6/6.9/7.8/8.7/9.6%.

Woodpecker Electro

2-Piece Set: CRIT Rate +8%
4-Piece Set: Landing a critical hit on an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dodge Counter, or EX Special Attack increases the equipper's ATK by 9% for 6s. The buff duration for different skills are calculated separately.

Hormone Punk

2-Piece Set: ATK +10%
4-Piece Set: Upon becoming the active character in combat, the equipper's ATK increases by 25% for 10s. This effect can trigger once every 20s.

Sigrid's Stat Priority

Sigrid obtains up to 66% CRIT Rate from her Core Passive, so you can easily prioritise CRIT DMG as main stat on her Disc 4.

Sigrid's Skill Priority

Sigrid's Core is the most important skill for her because of its additional CRIT Rate, and the rest of her kit revolves around the Core Passive's Unbridled Spear attack mechanic.

How to Play Sigrid

Sigrid is an Ice Attack Agent focused on maintaining her Aerial Patrol Spear state and building up more powerful Basic Attack: Converging Spear attacks. Whenever she lands an Unbridled Spear attack like her EX Special Attack, Assist Follow-Up, Chain Attack, Ultimate, Dodge Counter, or the fourth hit of her Basic Attack combo, she enters Aerial Patrol Spear if she is not already in it.

If she is already in the state, the attack instead refreshes its duration. In both cases, Sigrid gains one use of Basic Attack: Converging Spear and increases her CRIT Rate by up to 66%. The Crit Rate increase is due to her Core Passive: Sky Knight Core Skill.

When she in Aerial Patrol Spear, hold Basic Attack to perform Basic Attack: Converging Spear. It has three stages, with each use advancing to the next stage before resetting back to Stage 1 after the third attack. Stage 3 is Sigrid's most powerful hit.

To keep Aerial Patrol Spear active, you need to keep using Unbridled Spear attacks before its duration expires. Every refresh grants another use of Basic Attack: Converging Spear, allowing Sigrid to continue to progress through her three stages. As Converging Spear advances, the duration of Aerial Patrol Spear becomes shorter, dropping from 8 seconds at Stage 1 to 7 seconds at Stage 2 and 6 seconds at Stage 3. If the state expires, Sigrid does not lose all of her progress because her Converging Spear stage is simply reduced by one, making it easier to continue her rotation.

The first two stages of Basic Attack: Converging Spear can also block incoming attacks when they are charging. A successful block not only negates the damage, but also refreshes Aerial Patrol Spear and grants another use of Basic Attack: Converging Spear. it also doubles the Daze dealt by the next Converging Spear, making it a pretty useful defensive tool when timed correctly.

Sigrid performs especially well against Stunned enemies. Her Chain Attack grants Tempered, increasing the damage of next Basic Attack: Converging Spear attacks. When her Chain Attack hits a Stunned Elite or Boss enemy for the first time during a Stun window, it also triggers Formation Breaker. During this state, Aerial Patrol Spear no longer loses duration, allowing Sigrid to freely perform all three stages of Basic Attack: Converging Spear. Once the sequence is complete, Formation Breaker ends and her previously recorded Converging Spear stage is restored, letting her always continue her normal rotation.

In combat, your goal is to maintain Aerial Patrol Spear as consistently as possible by using Unbridled Spear attacks between your Basic Attack: Converging Spear. This lets you safely progress toward Stage 3 and take advantage of Sigrid's high CRIT Rate uptime, powerful Converging Spear finishers, and enhanced Stun damage. And as much as possible you want to save your most powerful attacks for Stun windows to fully benefit from Tempered and Formation Breaker as well.

To summarise, the rotation looks like this:

• Use a Unbridled Spear attack to enter Aerial Patrol Spear, usually with EX Special Attack
• Hold Basic Attack to perform Basic Attack: Converging Spear Stage 1
• Use a different Unbridled Spear attack to refresh Aerial Patrol Spear
• Hold Basic Attack to perform Basic Attack: Converging Spear Stage 2
• Use another available Unbridled Spear attack to refresh Aerial Patrol Spear again
• Hold Basic Attack to perform Basic Attack: Converging Spear Stage 3

Sigrid's Best Mindscapes

Sigrid's best Mindscapes to invest in would be her M1 and M6. Her M1 is a good stopping point if you do not want to invest too much, granting 25% ATK.

Sigrid's M6 allows her to deal an additional 80%/90%/100% of ATK as Ice DMG when the final hit of the 1st/2nd/3rd stage lands on an enemy, and using Chain Attack: Encroaching Ice to hit a Stunned enemy removes the usage limit when entering the Formation Breaker state. And in the Formation Breaker state, Converging Spear activates more quickly.

If you have to choose between her M1 and her W-Engine, we recommend you go for the W-Engine first because it currently has a lot more value than just her M1.
