Trigger's Best Teams, Bangboo & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Trigger team composition guide for Zenless Zone Zero. In this guide, we will explore the best teams to build for Trigger, including recommended Agents, character synergies, and Bangboo to help her reach her full damage potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Trigger

Trigger synergizes the most with Attack Agents who want as much on-field time as they can get. This is ideal for Trigger's general playstyle, as she wants to remain off-field as much as possible (to stun as fast as possible). Using Attack Agents, or those in Obol Squad also allows her Additional Ability to activate too.

Nicole Demara Anton Ivanov Ben Bigger
Additional CRIT Rate Sources

If players require additional help with building Trigger's CRIT Rate, they may also consider assistance from Trigger's squad. Some Agents may provide CRIT Rate buffs which can help Trigger use her Additional Ability more effectively.

  • Nicole Demara's Corrupting Energy Field: Whenever Nicole lands her Energy Field on a target, every Squad Member who attacks that target gets 1.5% CRIT Rate for 12s. This buff can stack up to 10 times (maximum 15% CRIT Rate increase).
  • Anton Ivanov's Everyone Get Fired Up!: If he activates a Chain Attack or Ultimate, every Squad Member's CRIT Rate increases by 10% for 12s.
  • Ben Bigger's Core Passive: Guardian: When the shield is active, every Squad Member will receive an additional 16% CRIT Rate. The maximum duration for the shield (and its buff) is 30s.

Bangboo in Trigger's Teams

Trigger's best Bangboo currently available consists of either PlugbooPlugboo or MercuryMercury. Obol Squad's MercuryMercury not only boosts Aftershock DMG, but Trigger can also activate its Additional Ability alone at Levels 3 and higher. Alternatively, Trigger can also use PlugbooPlugboo to increase Electric DMG dealt to enemies.

As Trigger's primary source of damage and Daze deal Electric DMG, she can also excel with ElectrobooElectroboo (the A-Rank alternative to PlugbooPlugboo). Both Bangboos will help increase the Electric Anomaly Buildup on targets, which can help accumulate Daze and stun faster.

If players would like a more supportive option instead, they can also consider a Faction-specific Bangboo or KnightbooKnightboo. While Trigger may be unable to activate the Additional Abilities herself, she can certainly benefit from having a Bangboo that can increase the squad's overall damage (such as KnightbooKnightboo or SafetySafety) or deal significant damage itself (such as Officer CuiOfficer Cui or Red MoccusRed Moccus).

Trigger's Best Teams

Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Trigger. Her best teams however can depend both on what boss you are against, as well as any buffs present. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power.
