Barrage Enhancement Artillerist Gearing Guide for Lost Ark

Barrage Enhancement has two different routes you can take, but both options will prioritize Specialization. The Specialization / Crit build may be too slow for some people, but it does provide a larger DPS boost over the other option, Specialization / Swiftness. Test both in Trixion and see which you prefer before settling on a build.

Card sets for Artillerist is very straight forward. If you have access to it, Light of Salvation is the set to equip for Legion raids affected by Light-type damage. For any other content, or if Light of Salvation is unavailable, Lostwind Cliff is optimal for the increased Crit rate. If you're new to the game, feel free to equip any card set you have access to that increases survivability, such as Field Boss II.

A few Engravings from the list are optional, build for preference since it doesn't change playstyle.

Engraving	Priority	Description
Barrage Enhancement	High	This is a must take. Boosts your damage while in Barrage Mode, while also removing the cooling effect debuff entirely, so you don't need to wait to start gaining resources again.
Grudge	High	A staple in damage builds. Every DPS class in this game takes it, including Artillerist. Downside is negated by both Energy Field and the passive tankiness from Firepower Enhancement.
Keen Blunt Weapon	High	Our class Engraving provides the Crit levels required to make KBW work. Combine this with Adrenaline to ensure you get the most out of it.
Adrenaline	High	Combine this with Keen Blunt Weapon to ensure mandatory Crit levels are reached. Extremely easy to keep at maximum stacks due to Enhanced Shell's low cooldown. Can be kept at level 1 depending on your build, and if you're running 5x3+1.
Hit Master	Optional	Artillerist has no positionals, so this affects everything we do.
All-Out Attack	Optional	This affects Flamethrower, Gravity Explosion, Barrage: Focus Fire, and Barrage: Energy Cannon.
Cursed Doll	Low	This Engraving can be opted for instead of Hit Master or All-Out Attack, but why would you? Similar DPS increase, but with a downside.

Starting in Legendary gear, you'll want the Preordained Diligence set from Argos to give you additional Critical Rate. At this point in the game, you can mostly ignore the set from Valtan normal mode and immediately start transitioning into a Relic set. There's two options, depending on which substats you've decided to prioritize. This Engraving doesn't have the mana issues that Firepower Enhancement has, so it's not a consideration to make.

1. Salvation: Resolves the builds lack of Attack Speed.
2. Hallucination: Resolves the builds lack of Crit Rate.

Barrage Enhancement ideally wants Crit as the main priority on stats. Feel free to run Swiftness to comfort, or Specialization for higher damage output potential.
