Phoenix Best Team Compositions and Character Synergies

Remielle Dan is an Anomaly support and sub-DPS, providing many buffs including up to 1,600 ATK, while also increasing squad members' Attribute Anomaly DMG. She also helps with building up Daze to stun enemies even faster.

Remielle Dan is one of Phoenix's best Agents to pair with, as her buffs are ahead of alternative Supports. Phoenix also grants Remielle CRIT benefits for her Luminize procs.

Velina's Wind Attribute Anomaly effects can benefit Phoenix, as her Ablooms can deal more DMG while building for more resources. Velina also acts as a pseudo-Stun Agent through her different skills and Wind Attribute Anomaly Cyclones, allowing for quicker stuns in Shiyu Defense and a third stun in Deadly Assault.

Velina is Phoenix's best teammate, as she is one of the few Anomaly sub-DPS Agents Phoenix can benefit from. This is thanks to Fire having very good synergy with Wind. Phoenix will also make Velina's Vortex and Windswept Attribute Anomaly procs CRIT.

Phoenix really wants at least a second Anomaly Agent in her teams. Since Phoenix is a main DPS, she will typically want a sub-DPS to compliment her playstyle. Of the available Agents, Vivian is basically the only option outside of Velina. However, her low Anomaly build-up will not synergize well with Remielle Dan, who you also want to use with Phoenix.

While not a sub-DPS, Promeia does provide buffs to Abloom damage, which Phoenix does a significant amount of. However, the two will be fighting for field time in this team.

For most Anomaly teams, Support Agents, especially Ukinami Yuzuha, are greatly appreciated for the buffs they provide.

Yuzuha will have even more synergy in a team consisting of Phoenix and Velina as she will help Phoenix build up more Anomaly procs which will help Velina with her stacks and more frequent Vortex activations.

Stun Agents will almost always be worse than Anomaly Agents for Phoenix, since she needs an Anomaly Agent to activate her Additional Ability. However, if you are lacking in Anomaly Agent options, these Stun Agents will be serviceable. Notably, Nangong Yu is the best of the three by a mile, as her kit is built to support Anomaly teams.

It should be noted that in these teams, you should not use Remielle Dan, since Remielle will not get the most out of her buffing without a third Anomaly Agent. Instead, use one of the recommended Support Agents.
