Welcome to our Severian build guide for Zenless Zone Zero. Severian Lowell is a powerful S-Rank Wind DPS Agent who deals damage through his Enhanced Basic Attack and Entry Skill, while accumulating resources through dodging enemy attacks. In our guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Severian, from building the best Drive Discs and W-Engines to important stat priorities and combos.

Severian's Best W-Engines

Listed below are some W-Engines likely to be useful for Severian. As Severian is not yet released, information regarding his kit is subject to change, and W-Engine recommendations are not final. Recommendations below are only speculative.

Severian Signature W-Engine

Increases the equipper's CRIT DMG by 24%. When the equipper's [Basic Attack] hits an enemy, increases their own ATK by 15%, and DMG dealt ignores 20% of the target's Wind DMG RES for 20s.

Knight's Extolment

Knight's Rite
When the equipper's Basic Attack or EX Special Attack's heavy attack hits an enemy, they gain 1 stack of Battle Edge, increasing CRIT DMG by 32/36.8/41.6/46.4/51.2% for 25s. Battle Edge can stack up to 2 times, and each skill type can provide up to 1 stack. Repeated triggers refresh the duration of all Battle Edge.
At 2 stacks of Battle Edge, the equipper gains Bonechill: Their DMG ignores 20/23/26/29/32% of the target's Ice RES.

Cordis Germina

Sprouting Core
Increases CRIT Rate by 15/17/19/21/23%. When the equipper deals DMG with a Basic Attack or EX Special Attack, they gain 1 stack of a buff. Each stack increases the equipper's Electric DMG by 12.5/14.5/16.5/18.5/20%, up to 2 stacks. Each stack lasts 40s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. Can trigger once per use of a skill. At 2 stacks, the wearer's Basic Attack and Ultimate DMG ignore 20/23/26/29/32% of enemy DEF.

The Brimstone

Scorching Breath
Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter, the equipper's ATK increases by 3.5/4.4/5.2/6/7% for 8s, stacking up to 8 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately.

Heartstring Nocturne

String & Melody
CRIT DMG increases by 50/57.5/65/72.5/80%. When the equipper enters combat, or activates a Chain Attack or Ultimate, they gain 1 stack of Heartstring. Each stack of Heartstring allows the equipper's Chain Attack and Ultimate to ignore 12.5/14.5/16.5/18.5/20% of the target's Fire RES, stacking up to 2 times and lasting 30s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

Starlight Engine

Knight's Combo
Launching a Dodge Counter or Quick Assist increases the equipper's ATK by 12/13.8/15.6/17.4/19.2% for 12s.

Best Drive Discs for Severian

As Severian is not yet released, information regarding his kit is subject to change, and Drive Disc recommendations are not final. Recommendations below are only speculative.

Dawn's Bloom

2-Piece Set: Increases Basic Attack DMG by 15%.
4-Piece Set: Increases Basic Attack DMG by 20%. When equipped by an Attack character, using an EX Special Attack or Ultimate will further increase Basic Attack DMG by 20% for 25s. Repeated triggers reset the duration.

Woodpecker Electro

2-Piece Set: CRIT Rate +8%
4-Piece Set: Landing a critical hit on an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dodge Counter, or EX Special Attack increases the equipper's ATK by 9% for 6s. The buff duration for different skills are calculated separately.

Hormone Punk

2-Piece Set: ATK +10%
4-Piece Set: Upon becoming the active character in combat, the equipper's ATK increases by 25% for 10s. This effect can trigger once every 20s.

Severian's Stat Priority

Severian Lowell can be built similar to other Attack Agents, with CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG being the most important stats, followed by ATK% and PEN.

Severian Lowell's Core Passive: Endless Wind provides 60% CRIT DMG, which can make CRIT Rate a higher priority to build. Severian's Additional Ability: Optimal Arrangement provides up to 700 ATK, which stacks with his level. The bonus 700 ATK can lower the priority on building ATK%, compared to other stats such as PEN or Wind DMG.

Severian's Skill Priority

Severian Lowell's skill priority order is to level up his Core Skill, Basic Attack, and Ultimate. The rest of his skills should probably also be leveled, although they may not deal as much DMG.

While Severian will be frequently using his Dodge, it does not directly deal large amounts of DMG. Instead, it follows up with his Basic Attack to deal large DMG. Severian's Entry Skill: Clearing Time also does not innately deal large amounts of DMG, and instead relies on additional DMG through his Core Skill.
