Holy Paladin Healing Guide (WoW MoP 5.3)

Holy Paladin Art Image Welcome to our Holy Paladin healing guide for World of Warcraft MoP 5.3. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about playing a Holy Paladin in a raid environment, though most of the content also applies to normal and heroic dungeons.

For 10-man raiding, this guide has been reviewed and approved by Smirk, a Holy Paladin who raids in Paragon.

For 25-man raiding, this guide has been reviewed and approved by Atismund, a Holy Paladin who raids in Envy.

Holy Paladins offer a source of very reliable healing over long fights, as well as a large amount of tools that help them mitigate or avoid damage, both on themselves and on other raid members. While Holy Paladins do possess great tank-healing capabilities, they are not pushed into this role and can still raid heal very well.

Another aspect that sets paladins aside from other healing classes is their secondary resource, called Holy Power. Using Holy Power well is an integral part of playing a Holy Paladin and is the biggest contributing factor to their very good mana conservation and regeneration.

In order to properly play a healing role, you will need more than just class-specific information. To better understand healing in general, we recommend that you read our healing guide.
