One of the ugliest tier. I don't like them.

But at least our final affliction bonus will be cool. Can't wait to see this multidotting based set what can do in high level dungeons.

My biggest problem with that set is that it seems solely focused on outlaw. I'd feel like the biggest fucking dummy in that set, if I was still playing my Sub rogue. Oh yeah, and it's ugly as hell :D

Yeah, it always sucks when a set is designed around a spec rather than the class as a whole. I get that it's difficult when they are so different (Mage), but Rogue seems pretty easy, I would have thought :(

Well, Both assa and sub are kind of your standard run of the mill "assassin" archetypes, whereas the Outlaw is more .. Pirate-y themed. I guess they'll always have to make a choice, though. Personally haven't really liked a lot of the rogue sets in the past many years, and luckily transmogs are a thing, I would just prefer showing off a tier set than a transmog.

Doesn't matter much to me seeing as I don't play anymore, but I still like keeping up with the game, just in case. There's always that itch. :p

The only ones that really caught my eye were the Mythic HFC and the Mythic ToS sets. I think they look great. Otherwise I've been pretty indifferent about them. Like you said, I just mog and move on.

Doesn't this sound really op? Or is it just me? Pretty much everyone will neglect Shield of the RighteousShield of the Righteous for 100% dodge time at all times..

It is increased by 100%, as in, it is doubled. Not "It is increased to 100%". Also, Dodge is not the same as Block.

Aha that makes sense :) and yes I meanth block xD.

Your comment made me check about block and I found out block only reduces 30% dmg of a attack. So even if it was the way I thought it was, it would still only reduce every attack by 30% for 100% of the time being.

That really depends on your perspective.  Versus physical attacks, you are correct, dodge is more powerful.  However, there are a few things to remember.  Block reduces damage taken by 40% not 30% for a paladin (30% is default for warrior, but they can critically block for 60% reduction).  Also, paladins can talent into holy shield allowing them to block spells, something dodge does not help with at all.  I do think the 2p and 4p bonuses are a bit backwards though.  You always get the 2p but only sometimes get the 4p and they both provide the same benefit.  Another way to say it is:

2 piece bonus = +10% block chance all the time

4 piece bonus = +10% block chance only if not affected by shield of the righteous

So why is the 4p weaker than the 2p?

While I agree it needs to be buffed, you can't have the 4p without the 2p. It might be that, when testing, they found that higher %s on Block ended up being too strong, so kept it at a 100% bonus.

:) A guardian druid wearing a dead guardian druid on your head.. I could see that as a PVP set, not a PVE tier set. Or maybe a hunter, killer of fuzzy animals.

The 8.2 raid has us venturing into Queen Azshara's Eternal Palace and face off against her most powerful minions, so today we'll be taking a stroll through the palace, courtesy of LeysTV. The Queen herself was only recently tested on the PTR, but first let's take a look at the first 7 bosses we'll be facing, as well as the lengthy intro to the raid:
Then it's on to one of WoW's bigger big bads, with the the first part of the former Night Elf queen encounter consisting of her standing on the sidelines and having us fight even more minions, as she tosses out decrees from the sidelines. This first test had us facing off against Aethanel and Cyranus, the cursed lovers as Azshara calls them.
We didn't get to see much more past these first two in the first batch of raid testing, as the queen's decrees proved quite tricky, as you can see from this testing session by Kalamazi.
The raid is looking good so far and hopefully it will live up to expectations, especially with the World First race, where we've recently gotten a brand new champion with Pieces having defeated Method in the Crucible of Storms, so the Eternal Palace should be a very exciting one in that department as well.
And finally, let's all remind ourselves just how much of a badass Azshara can be:
    • By Stan
Today, we're looking at two faction-specific mounts which require Exalted reputation standing with the new Patch 8.2 factions.
Ankoan Waveray is an Alliance mount which can be purchased for 250 Prismatic Manapearls from Artisan Okata in Mezzamere and requires Exalted reputation standing with Waveblade Ankoan.
      Ankoan Waveray
The Ankoan have been battling the naga for years, and with a natural affinity for the sea, training the local wildlife was a natural strategy.

      Unshackled Waveray
The Unshackled have a natural kinship with the species of the deep seas that have seen cruelty at the hands of the naga.
Unshackled Waveray is a Horde mount which can be purchased for 250 Prismatic Manapearls from Finder Pruc in Newhome and requires Exalted reputation standing with the Unshackled.

Mechagon and Nazjatar have been added to the map of Kul Tiras in the latest 8.2 PTR build. In this post, we're taking a closer look at how to get there.

Mechagon and Nazjatar on the map of Kul Tiras.
      Mechagon
      1. How to Reach Mechagon
The intro quest line can be picked up in Boralus (Alliance) and Dazar'alor (Horde). You must travel to Tiragarde Sound and enter the vault to Mechagon.

Then, there's a short quest which needs to be done in order to travel to the new zone for the first time.
Flight Master's Whistle can be used to quickly reach the flight master in this location. You will be able to fly from Mechagon to all your unlocked flight points on Kul Tiras.

      2. How to Return to Mechagon
Horde players can talk to Captain Krooz at the Port of Zandalar to return to Mechagon at any time. Alliance will have a similar Gnome NPC equivalent located in Boralus after they finish the quest line.

      Nazjatar
      1. How to Reach Nazjatar
A new quest should be available in Boralus (Alliance) and Port to Zandalar (Horde) once Patch 8.2 goes live. You will find it aboard Banshee's Wail near Nathanos when playing Horde, so it's going to be similar on the Alliance side with the quest starting on the ship in Boralus. Flight Master's Whistle can't be used in Nazjatar... for now.
      2. Returning to Nazjatar
When you complete the Nazjatar intro quest line, a portal in Boralus and Dazar'alor will open, allowing you to teleport to the new hubs Mezzamere (Alliance) and Newhome (Horde).
On the Horde side, the portal's located in the Hall of Ancient Paths near Oculeth.

In Mezzamere, there's a portal back to Boralus and you'll find a portal to Zuldazar in Newhome.

In Patch 8.2, all Azerite powers will be unlocked instantly and the progression will shift into Essences that empower your Heart of Azeroth.
      Table of Contents
Introduction Components Ranks Heart of Azeroth Slots All Essences Introduction
We expect a big overhaul to the Heart of Azeroth in Rise of Azshara. As a result, Azerite powers will be unlocked instantly and progression is shifting to the neckpiece itself. You will be collecting Essences to gain active abilities and passives. You can find more details in the official preview.
      Components
      All Essences have two components:
Major Power Component: Mostly active abilities that are added directly to your spellbook. Note that there are some exceptions and for some Essences, the Major Power can be a passive effect. Minor Power Component: All minor powers are passive effects. Ranks
All Essences have four ranks, with the final one being of Legendary quality and purely cosmetic. You currently don't need to earn the previous rank to level them up, so you can learn a Rank 3 Essence immediately, before learning Ranks 1 & 2.
Rank 1 [Azeroth's Undying Gift] provides an ability based on your role (tank, damage dealer, healer).  Rank 2 [Azeroth's Undying Gift] & Rank 3 [Azeroth's Undying Gift] enhance your Essence's Major & Minor Powers in some way. Rank 4 [Azeroth's Undying Gift] adds a flashy visual to the spell that will make you stand out. Heart of Azeroth Slots
The plan for Patch 8.2 is to have a single major slot and two minor slots. The second minor slot unlocks at Heart of Azeroth Level 65. An additional major slot will be added later in Battle for Azeroth.
      Major Slot
If you insert an Essence into the slot, you will benefit from both its Major & Minor Powers. Minor Slot
Only the Minor Power of an Essence will work when inserted in this slot.
Note: You can't insert two of the same Essences into the Heart of Azeroth.
      All Essences
Here's a list of all Essences as of Patch 8.2 Build 30262.

Vision of Perfection is a specialization-specific Essence added in Patch 8.2, so the effects affect different spells for each specialization. In this post, we're looking at them in more detail.
We updated this article with the latest Vision of Perfection changes from May 24th.
Brewmaster Monk's Minor Vision of Perfection power will still reduce the cooldown of Fortifying Brew by 13%. Guardian Druid's Minor Vision of Perfection power will still reduce the cooldown of Survival Instincts by 13% Each Essence has two components - a Major and a Minor Power.
Major Power: Your spells and abilities have a chance to activate a predetermined spell for 25% (rank 1) - 35% (rank 2) of its base duration. Healing cooldowns (Divine Hymn, Healing Tide Totem, Revival, Tranquility) have a chance to cause an immediate burst of their healing effects and don't come with a reduced cooldown. Minor Power: Reduces the cooldown of a predetermined spell by 13.0%. A big thanks to Banshee#6893 for providing the data and clarifications!
Predetermined spells for the Major power are different for each specialization:
       Death Knight
Blood (Vampiric Blood ) Frost (Empower Rune Weapon ) Unholy (Apocalypse)  Mage
Arcane (Arcane Power) Fire (Combustion) Frost (Icy Veins)  Rogue
