Millie Watt is your first Brawler's Guild Rank 5 opponent. The fight is not difficult, once you know what you have to do. You can try figuring it out on your own, if you prefer to discover things by yourself. Before we delve further into the explanations, we advise you to first watch this very short video, which shows how the fight with Millie Watt goes.

1. Abilities and Strategy↑top

Millie Watt remains stationary for the entirety of the fight and she uses several abilities, none of which being interruptible.

  • Photoplasm Buster Ray Icon Photoplasm Buster Ray is a channeled spell that deals approximately 7k damage per second. This is her main spell and she always channels it when she is not using one of her other spells.
  • Electric Dynamite Icon Electric Dynamite creates a damaging electricity field at your location.
  • Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator will disorient your character for 15 seconds. The only way to regain control of your character, besides using spells such as Ice Block Icon Ice Block, is to take damage from Electric Dynamite.

The most important aspect of the fight is to properly handle Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator, because otherwise you will take a lot of damage while you are incapacitated. To prevent the loss of control of your character, you need to step into an Electric Dynamite Icon Electric Dynamite field, right before she finishes her cast of Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator. This will cause your character to remain incapacitated only for a very short amount of time.

Once you manage to deal with Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator, the fight is easy. Step out of the electric fields as soon as they appear and use your defensive abilities to survive the low damage of Photoplasm Buster Ray Icon Photoplasm Buster Ray.

2. Generic Advice↑top

  • Do not panic. It does not matter if you mess up your rotation, but you need to stick to the strategy.
  • If you are in for a long Brawler's Guild session, you may want to use a flask.
  • Prepot! Use a Potion of Brawler's Might Icon Potion of Brawler's Might, a Potion of Brawler's Cunning Icon Potion of Brawler's Cunning, or a Potion of Brawler's Deftness Icon Potion of Brawler's Deftness right before MILLIEWATT appears, depending on what your main statistic is.
  • When the 60-second cooldown on your potion is over, you can use the same potion again or you can use a Brawler's Healing Potion Icon Brawler's Healing Potion if you need healing.
  • Group up with other players so that you benefit from each other's buffs.

4. Classes We Did The Fight With↑top

4.1. Mage

To deal with Millie Watt, we advise you to make use of the following Mage-specific abilities/talents/glyphs.

  • Use Ice Barrier Icon Ice Barrier as your Tier 2 talents and always keep it up. Remember that Ice Barrier has a 1-minute duration, but only a 25-second cooldown. So, try to cast it before being teleported into the arena. This way, the cooldown will be over by the time Ice Barrier drops from the damage you take, and you will be able to recast it immediately.
  • Use Cauterize Icon Cauterize as your Tier 4 talent. This will save your life on many occasions. As soon as it procs, use Ice Block Icon Ice Block to remove the DoT effect it leaves on you. If you are using Glyph of Ice Block Icon Glyph of Ice Block, removing Ice Block will cast an instant free Frost Nova Icon Frost Nova and render you immune to spells for 3 seconds, which can be extremely useful.
  • Use Invocation Icon Invocation as your Tier 6 talent, in conjunction with Glyph of Evocation Icon Glyph of Evocation. This will enable you to heal yourself for 40% of your life, on a 10-second cooldown.
  • In addition to Glyph of Evocation Icon Glyph of Evocation, which is nigh-mandatory, and Glyph of Ice Block Icon Glyph of Ice Block, which we have already mentioned, you may find the glyphs listed below useful.
    • If you play Arcane, then Glyph of Arcane Power Icon Glyph of Arcane Power can be very useful for your initial burn phase (in conjunction with your trinkets procs/uses and your potion).
    • If you play Fire, then Glyph of Combustion Icon Glyph of Combustion can be very useful for your initial burn phase (in conjunction with your trinkets procs/uses and your potion).
    • If you play Frost, then Glyph of Water Elemental Icon Glyph of Water Elemental will be very beneficial because it will allow your Water Elemental to cast while moving.

As a Mage, you can use Mirror Image Icon Mirror Image to confuse Millie Watt and cause her to cast Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator on your images or on your Water Elemental. This will save you the trouble of entering an electric field to deal with the incapacitate effect. If you get incapacitated and you are far away from an electric field, you can use Ice Block Icon Ice Block to regain control of your character.

To recover life, simply cast Evocation Icon Evocation right after Millie summons an electric field or right after she uses Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator. Ice Barrier Icon Ice Barrier, if it has not been broken, will prevent pushback.

4.2. Rogue

To deal with Millie Watt, we advise you to make use of the following Rogue-specific abilities/talents/glyphs.

  • Note that using Vanish Icon Vanish will cause the fight to stop and you will be teleported out of the arena.
  • Maintaining Slice and Dice Icon Slice and Dice and Recuperate Icon Recuperate up is your priority. Because you will be relying on Recuperate for self-healing, Glyph of Recuperate Icon Glyph of Recuperate is advised. When you do not need to refresh these two buffs, you can spend your Combo Points on Eviscerate Icon Eviscerate/Envenom Icon Envenom (depending on your specialisation).
  • Leeching Poison Icon Leeching Poison should be your Tier 3 talent and you should use it as your Non-Lethal poison (together with Deadly Poison Icon Deadly Poison as your Lethal Poison).
  • Choose Anticipation Icon Anticipation as your Tier 6 talent. You will make undoubtedly make mistakes in your rotation, so being able to store Combo Points will come in handy.
  • In addition to Glyph of Recuperate Icon Glyph of Recuperate, you should use Glyph of Cloak of Shadows Icon Glyph of Cloak of Shadows.

As a Rogue, you can make the fight much easier by using Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows when she is casting Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator on you.

4.3. Shaman

To deal with Millie Watt, we advise you to make use of the following Shaman-specific abilities/talents/glyphs.

  • Use Astral Shift Icon Astral Shift as your Tier 1 talent. It will enable you to sometimes reduce the damage you take. Enhancement Shamans can also use Shamanistic Rage Icon Shamanistic Rage for the same purpose.
  • Use Elemental Mastery Icon Elemental Mastery as your Tier 4 talent. Cast it at the beginning of the fight to increase your initial burst damage.
  • Use Ancestral Guidance Icon Ancestral Guidance as your Tier 5 talent. Cast it whenever you are in need of healing.
  • Use Primal Elementalist Icon Primal Elementalist as your Tier 6 talent to further increase your initial damage burst.
  • If you play Enhancement, you may find the glyphs below to be useful.

Millie Watt has a large health pool of 5.5M. This means that, unless you have very good gear, you cannot count on your burst damage to kill her before she does anything dangerous, like most of the other Brawler's Guild opponents. Therefore, you will have to pay proper attention to Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator and move into the electric fields when Millie is about to finish the cast.

The damage is not problematic, but if you need to heal yourself, use Healing Stream Totem Icon Healing Stream Totem or Healing Surge Icon Healing Surge. If necessary, you can use Ancestral Guidance Icon Ancestral Guidance. Enhancement Shamans can also use Feral Spirit Icon Feral Spirit to heal themselves.

4.4. Warlock

To deal with Millie Watt, we advise you to make use of the following Warlock-specific abilities/talents/glyphs.

  • For self-healing and survival purposes, you should use Soul Leech Icon Soul Leech as your Tier 2 talent and Glyph of Siphon Life Icon Glyph of Siphon Life. Soul Leech will cause your main spells to give you large shields for a fraction of the damage they deal, while Glyph of Siphon Life will cause Corruption Icon Corruption (Affliction/Demonology) or Immolate Icon Immolate (Destruction) to heal you for a percentage of the damage it deals.
  • Dark Bargain Icon Dark Bargain is an extremely useful ability and your best option for your Tier 4 talent. Always try to use it at the end of the fight, if you need a few extra seconds to kill your opponent. Note that when Dark Bargain runs out, you will often die from the damage that it has prevented you from taking.
  • Use Grimoire of Supremacy Icon Grimoire of Supremacy as your Tier 5 talent. This way, you can use your Voidlord to make the fight trivial.
  • Kil'jaeden's Cunning Icon Kil'jaeden's Cunning will prove invaluable as a Tier 6 talent, as it allows you to use all your spells while moving.
  • In addition to Glyph of Siphon Life Icon Glyph of Siphon Life, which is mandatory, you may find the glyphs listed below useful.
    • Glyph of Healthstone Icon Glyph of Healthstone increases the healing from your Healthstone, but this increased healing is done over 10 seconds. You should try to use your improved Healthstone when you have taken about 30% of your health as damage. This will help you make the fight last longer, giving you more time to kill your opponent.

As a Warlock, you can use your Voidlord to deal with Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator Icon Megafantastic Discombobumorphanator. Always instruct your Voidlord to stand in the electric fields, which will not deal much damage to it. This way, it will never remain incapacitated for very long.

Thanks to your Voidlord, your main task will be to move out of the electric fields, all the while killing Millie. To survive the remaining damage that Millie will deal to you, you can use Unending Resolve Icon Unending Resolve, Dark Bargain Icon Dark Bargain, and your healthstone.
