Chevreuse's Best Teams & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Chevreuse team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Chevreuse, including recommended characters, character synergies, and Team Compositions to help Chevreuse reach her full damage potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Chevreuse

Since Chevreuse requires a team of entirely Pyro and Electro characters, these will be her best synergies. Most of Chevreuse's buffs apply to the whole team, so she is great not just for buffing a Pyro or Electro on-field DPS, but also off-field DPS at the same time. The RES Shred Chevreuse provides requires Overload to be consistently triggered, so you'll want both Elements consistently being applied.

Electro
Electro DPS Options

Electro DPS lack access to truly powerful Elemental Reactions, so opting to hyper buff them in a Chevreuse team is optimal for most of them. Notable examples are Varesa Clorinde Razor Cyno and Raiden Shogun.

Pyro
Pyro DPS Options

Unlike Electro, Pyro DPS have access to powerful reactions with Vaporize and Melt. However, some Pyro DPS that don't utilize these reactions as well, such as Klee and Lyney, greatly appreciate everything Chevreuse has to offer. Some Pyro DPS that use Vaporize and Melt well are still strong with Chevreuse as an alternative option, such as Mavuika and Arlecchino.

Durin Fischl

Durin and Fischl are two of the best supports to bring in a Chevreuse team. Together they'll deal great damage from off-field, consistently apply their Elements, and provide good buffs, including the powerful Celestial Gift set.

Nicole
Nicole

Nicole can work great, providing a strong Shield and a good teamwide Attack buff. With another Hexerei character on the team, she will also be able to use the Celestial Gift set. However, Nicole does not have any off-field Pyro application, so you may need to swap back to her throughout the rotation in order to maintain Chevreuse's RES Shred.

Mavuika
Mavuika

Mavuika has strong on-field DPS teams with Chevreuse, but she can also be used as a support, dealing good damage with her Elemental Burst, applying off-field Pyro, and buffing with Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City plus her own DMG % buff.

Pyro Traveler
Pyro Traveler

Pyro Traveler can work as an inferior but free alternative to Mavuika, providing off-field Pyro, Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City, and a smaller DMG % buff of their own.

Bennett
Bennett

Bennett provides a massive Attack buff to the on-field DPS, but similar to Nicole, he has no off-field Pyro application to sustain Chevreuse's RES Shred. But he can still be a good option if your team is able to swap back to him throughout the rotation.

Iansan
Iansan

Between Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City and her own buffs, Iansan provides some of the greatest buffing you could ask for, especially if your on-field DPS moves enough to sustain her full ATK buff. However, she does not provide any off-field Electro application, she is not sufficient for maintaining Chevreuse's RES Shred for Pyro DPS.

Ororon
Ororon

Ororon is another Electro option that can buff with Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City. He provides far less buffing than Iansan, but can provide off-field Electro application and deal decent damage of his own. However, for this, he will need another source of Nightsoul damage on the team such as Varesa Mavuika or Pyro Traveler.

Yae Miko
Yae Miko

Yae can provide reliable off-field Electro application and decent damage. However, Fischl is often superior, especially with a second Hexerei unit like Durin on the team.

Chevreuse's Best Team Compositions

Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Chevreuse. Her best teams however can depend both on what boss you are against as well as how you have built them. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power for example, some F2P teams may also be present.
