Talent Cheatsheet
We recommend using the Clouded Focus build for Amirdrassil. This build focuses on a cyclical ramping playstyle centered around frequent Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent casts. More detail about the build can be found in our //www.icy-veins.com/wow/mistweaver-monk-pve-healing-rotation-cooldowns-abilities section.
Gnarlroot
Tips
- During Controlled Burn, be on the lookout to assist the slower members of your raid get into position by using Tiger's Lust on them. They will also need focused healing, making them prime targets for our tier bonus
- During Uprooted Agony, the raid will be taking heavy damage, so be sure to have your Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent off cooldown and ready for use in order to keep the raid healthy.
For more information, please refer to our Gnarlroot guide.
Igira the Cruel
Tips
- Be sure to give you raid time to spread out with Heart Stopper before healing the debuff off of them. This is a good time to ramp Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent while your raiders are getting into position.
- When it's time to handle Umbral Destruction be on the lookout for players might need a Life Cocoon in order to survive the soak.
For more information, please refer to our Igira guide.
Volcoross
Tips
- Flood of the Firelands provides a great point to use Revival as it is predictable and knocks everyone into the air, preventing casts. However, your raid might find that the subsequent moments to Flood's cast are not actually that dangerous and might opt to use your cooldowns elsewhere.
- Be sure to use a defensive and be on the lookout to Life Cocoon someone who is in danger prior to the Flood of the Firelands soak.
- Be sure to try to align your Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent ramp with Serpent's Fury as it does large raid damage, as well as continuous damage to select targets afterward via Coiling Flames.
For more information, please refer to our Volcoross guide.
Council of Dreams
Tips
- During Urctos' Blind Rage, be wary for players coming into melee in order to transform him into a duck, as the effect is AoE and will also turn you into a duck if you are too close. Don't get ducked.
- Emerald Winds is a great point to use either Revival or Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent, whichever you have available to you at the time.
- Poisonous Javelin explodes upon removal, so remember to dispel it only when your target is in a safe spot.
Larodar, Keeper of the Flame
Tips
- When Fiery Treants die they become Charred Treants, and must be healed to full. Similarly, the same is true of Scorching Roots when they become Charred Brambles. Keep an eye on your boss frames, as their Health bars will appear there when they are healable.
- Use Ring of Peace to control the Treants summoned by Ashen Call. They drop Burning Ground upon death, so be sure to knock them onto patches of Burning Ground that are already active in order to preserve space.
- Life Cocoon can provide a boost to help remove the healing absorb in phase 2 from Flash Fire.
For more information, please refer to our Larodar guide.
Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle
Tips
- Be sure to have your Transcendence placed in order to quickly reposition if you find yourself about to be struck by the Impending Loom lines that radiate out from the boss.
- Damage during phase 2 slowly becomes more and more intense, so line up your Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent ramp for when the raid starts to take heavy damage.
For more information, please refer to our Nymue guide.
Smolderon
Tips
- Use Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent during Brand of Damnation as the entire raid will be taking damage in one way or another.
- Transcendence can be used to avoid the knockback during the intermission in order to quickly get back to healing.
Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame
Tips
- Use Tiger's Lust to remove Mass Entanglement on a ranged player, as they will not be receiving as much cleave damage. Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane will also break/immune the roots on yourself if you are running that talent.
- Wait for players targeted with Fiery Growth to get into position before dispelling them. It may also wise to run Restoral on this fight to avoid any accidental dispels.
- During his Treant form, be ready to quickly heal targets afflicted with Suppressive Ember, as its healing absorb can stack if not dealt with.
- Flaming Germination is the perfect time to ramp Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent as it deals constant raid-wide damage. During your instant casts, be sure to step on seeds in order to help spread out the damage they deal.
For more information, please refer to our Tindral guide.
Fyrakk the Blazing
Tips
- Aggressively dispel Aflame when it is safe to do so. A Revival can be a great way to handle many debuffs at once.
- Transcendence can be used to quickly return to the boss after dropping Firestorm.
- When Spirits of the Kaldorei spawn, drop what you are doing and heal them to full. It is a good idea to save 2 charges of Renewing Mist for this, and then to Enveloping Mist a third target before spamming Vivify.
