Stats Further Explained
Healing Power is by far your best stat as a Holy Paladin due to the nature of healing, the more healing power you have the stronger your healing effects will be so less heals will need to be casted, saving you mana. Down-Ranking is a big part of Paladin Healing that at this point is not necessary or recommended but will become crucial in higher level bands.
Intellect is what helps increase your mana pool giving 15 max Mana per point and a small increase to your spell crit chance. The more mana you have the more abilities, in this case heals are able to be cast throughout a fight allowing you to sustain your group for longer. Intellect is your most important primary stat and should be a priority when considering which items to use.
Mana per 5 is our primary source of mana regeneration, it every 5 seconds a pulse will happen granting you mana based off of how much current MP5 your character has active, this allows you to cast more abilities throughout a fight as your mana is constantly being returned to you.
When a heal crits it will do 150% of what it would have originally done making this one of our most highly sought-after secondary stats. Due to how short most encounters are at this point in Season of Discovery this becomes even more valuable as an odd crit here or there can lead to you casting fewer heals. Thanks to the talent Illumination Crit has become even more valuable as it now will return mana equal to the base cost of the heal that critically strikes.
Spirit is what your out of combat Health/Mana regeneration are based off of. This stat is mostly irrelevant as a Holy Paladin due to the fact you will most of the time be spamming your Flash of Light ability during combat but should you find yourself with some downtime in a fight and the 5-second rule is able to kick in, you will be able to see the benefit of your out of combat mana regeneration even during a boss encounter.
Stamina grants 10 points of health per 1 Stamina. You should not need to focus on Stamina as most pieces of gear come with it naturally but having enough Stamina to survive taking a hit is important.
