Protection Warrior Phase 2 Best in Slot Gear
In this guide we go over the different gear available for Protection Warriors in Phase 2 of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be expensive or very rare to obtain. Some slots have multiple "best" items that can change depending on your other gear choices.
Best in Slot Gear List
This is a recommended list of full best in slot gear choices. You should be changing your gear often depending on the encounter, so not everything shown below will be used on every fight. Change your gear accordingly based on the battle, what gear you have in other slots, your buffs and so on. This list is to simply show you one of the many full best in slot setups.

You only have a couple helmet choices available in Phase 2. Your choice will
depend on your Hit/Expertise needs. Conqueror's Siegebreaker Greathelm is
one of the 2 pieces you will want to wear to maintain the 2-set bonus if you
want it.

While Phase 2 has a couple viable necklaces, Bronze Pendant of the Vanir
is definitely your preferred choice. With the custom ilvl buffs introduced by
blizzard, this neck is extremely powerful. Grab one of the other options in the
meantime till you can get yours.

giving you a large amount of Hit, Expertise and an open socket. Grab an
alternative in the meantime till yours drops.

You have a couple choices for your chest slot. Breastplate of the Timeless
is the overall best piece, offering massive Stamina and Expertise.
Conqueror's Siegebreaker Breastplate is also a great consideration, helping
complete either your 2-set or 4-set bonus.
Unbreakable Chestguard is the
best mitigation chest available, greatly increasing your block stats.

received a large stat increase.

Legplates of the Endless Void are your best-in-slot legs for the phase as
they received a large stat boost.
Conqueror's Siegebreaker Legguards are a
great option as well and much easier to obtain, helping to complete your 2-set
or 4-set bonuses.
Gilded Steel Legplates are also a great choice for the
large boost to Expertise they offer.

you can obtain your best options.

Phase 2 brings some very high Stamina trinkets for you to obtain, upgrade to
these whenever you can. While Furnace Stone has Dodge, which is much less
desirable than Stamina, the on-use active effect is a massive boost to your
Armor, giving this trinket some uses.

Armor Plated Combat Shotgun remains a solid choice till you can obtain your
