On this page, you will find tips and tricks specifically tailored toward Outlaw Rogues and its toolkit based on the recommended talent build. It does not include general tips for mechanics, which are included in the full raid guide instead, whereas this page assumes that you are already familiar with most of the major mechanics of each encounter.

Single Target

The build above is your general single target talent tree with high sustained DPS, mobility and survivability.

Cleave Build

This build is the same as our M+ build, and adds 3 talents that will drastically increase your AoE output via Blade Flurry Icon Blade Flurry, as well as running Keep It Rolling Icon Keep It Rolling.

Eranog

6.1.

Talents/Build

We highly recommend the cleave build on this encounter.

6.2.

Tips

You can use Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows to run through the fiery walls spawned by the Primal Flame.

Evasion Icon Evasion works to avoid getting hit by the fixating Primal Flame adds.

Terros

7.1.

Talents

As this is a pure single-target fight, we highly recommend switching to the ST build.

Tips

There are no rogue-specific tips on this encounter.

8.

The Primal Council

8.1.

Talents

You should use the suggested cleave build here.

8.2.

Tips

As this fight is a permanent 4-target cleave fight, with bosses having to die within a few seconds of each other, you should prioritize whichever target has the highest remaining HP as your priority target.

Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows should be used to remove the Conductive Mark Icon Conductive Mark and Primal Blizzard Icon Primal Blizzard debuffs.

Sennarth, the Cold Breath

9.1.

Talents

You should use the suggested cleave build here.

9.2.

Tips

You can use Vanish Icon Vanish to clear the stacks of Sticky Webbing Icon Sticky Webbing.

You can use Grappling Hook Icon Grappling Hook to get back onto the platform if you get knocked or dragged off of it. This allows you to not care at all about the Sticky Webbing mechanic, and you can just full focus on DPSing the boss in all phases.

Dathea, Ascended

10.1.

Talents

You should use the suggested cleave build here if you are sent up to the platforms to deal with the adds. Otherwise, play full single-target.

10.2.

Tips

Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows can be used to avoid getting knocked back by the dying Volatile Infuser adds or to remove the Conductive Mark Icon Conductive Mark debuff. You can also use Grappling Hook Icon Grappling Hook to counter-act the knockback from the Volatile Infusers.

Kurog Grimtotem

11.1.

Tips

If there are overlapping Thunder Strike Icon Thunder Strike soaks, you can take both of these with Feint Icon Feint or Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows.

Broodkeeper Diurna

12.1.

Talents

You should use the suggested cleave build here if you are assigned to the adds. Otherwise, just play full single-target.

12.2.

Tips

Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows can be used to reset the Diurna's Gaze Icon Diurna's Gaze debuff, or remove/prevent Frozen Shroud Icon Frozen Shroud.

Raszageth the Storm-Eater

13.1.

Talents

You should use the suggested cleave build here.

13.2.

Tips

Grappling Hook Icon Grappling Hook can be used to quickly avoid taking damage from Tempest Wing Icon Tempest Wing.

While Cloak of Shadows Icon Cloak of Shadows is active, you are immune to both the damage and the knockback of all her abilities that knock you back.
