Emilie Best Teams and Team Compositions
Emilie is a 5-Star Dendro Polearm user in Genshin Impact who deals high amounts of off-field Dendro damage in Burning teams. This guide will focus on Emilie's best builds, artifacts, weapons, and team compositions.
Emilie's Best Teams & Character Synergies
Welcome to our Emilie team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Emilie, including recommended characters, character synergies, and team compositions to help Emilie reach her full damage potential.
Best Pairings and Synergies With Emilie
The most important characters to pair with Emilie are Pyro characters, as they are required to activate the Burning reaction. Without Burning, Emilie will deal negligible damage and have almost no value on a team. As long as the reaction is consistently present, Emilie can fit into many different teams, dealing good off-field damage alongside your main DPS.
Durin is one of the best possible supports for Emilie, providing strong, long-lasting off-field Pyro damage and application, alongside RES Shred to increase both Emilie and your on-field DPS' damage.
Mavuika and Pyro Traveler both provide off-field Pyro application, while being able to wield the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set for team-wide DMG % buffing.
Nicole is one of the greatest supports you can use with Emilie, especially when paired with Durin. The teamwide ATK she provides, along with the DMG% from The Bounty of Nature, allows Emilie and Durin to deal fantastic damage together with your on-field DPS. Because Nicole counts as a Hexerei character, Durin will also get his full 35% RES Shred for additional buffing. Note that The Bounty of Nature set will only buff Dendro DMG% for Emilie if you are using a Dendro character on field.
Although Bennett does not provide off-field Pyro application, Burning can still be sustained against a single wave of enemies, as long as you do not apply any other Elements that would remove it.
Iansan and Ororon can both buff Dendro with the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set. Iansan in particular will also provide great buffing to your active character, especially ones that move around a lot.
If your team has a good healer, Furina can provide a good DMG% buff that both Emilie and your main DPS will benefit from. Furina can also Vaporize some of her damage off the Burning aura, allowing her to do good damage of her own.
Kinich is a great DPS to pair with Emilie, since they both want the Burning reaction to maximize their damage. Since Kinich is Dendro, Nicole will be able to buff Dendro with The Bounty of Nature. Having a second Dendro unit on the team also makes it much easier for Emilie to use her Elemental Burst every rotation, if desired.
Cryo DPS like Ganyu and Wriothesley can make great use of Emilie, thanks to the Burning reaction supplying extra Pyro application, ensuring they always have enough to Melt.
Similar to Cryo, Hydro DPS like Mualani and Neuvillette can use the extra Pyro application from Burning to allow for more consistent Vaporize damage.
Electro DPS have a unique interaction with Burning. With enough Electro application, the Burning aura can be Overloaded away before the Quicken aura decays. This allows for near full Quicken uptime, while getting Overload damage as well. However, this team archetype is currently underpowered compared to other team options for Electro, like Overload and Lunar-Charged.
Emilie's Best Team Compositions
Listed below is a range of team compositions we recommend using with Emilie. Her best teams can depend on the boss you are facing, as well as how you have built her. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect its overall power; for example, some F2P teams may also be present.
Pure Burning Teams
Melt and Vaporize Teams
"Quickburn" Teams
