Lohen Best Teams and Team Compositions

To enable the Melt reaction, Lohen will need to be paired with a Pyro Sub-DPS with the ability to effectively apply off-field Pyro.

• Durin is a 5-Star Hexerei character and, alongside Lohen, fulfills the 2-Hexerei character requirement to unlock the Witch's Eve Rite passive. Durin can deal decent off-field damage, help Lohen accumulate Will to Win, and apply consistent off-field Pyro. In such teams, Durin can be played in Denial of Darkness mode.
• Xiangling is a 4-Star character who can apply fast off-field Pyro and deal decent damage. However, Xiangling has heavy ER requirements to burst consistently.
• Mavuika is a 5-Star DPS character who can also be played as an off-field Pyro DPS, and even provides a DMG buff after using her Burst. Mavuika can often deal more DMG as an on-field DPS than Lohen; however, the two can still be played together.

Alongside Lohen and a Pyro sub-DPS, a support can be played to provide DMG buffs and increase your team's damage.

• Nicole is likely to be the best option for this slot. Nicole is a 5-Star Hexerei character who provides additional off-field DMG, large ATK buffs, and a shield. Nicole can also equip the Heaven's Gift artifact set, providing a 40% DMG buff.
• Bennett can also be played as a support and works well as a powerful 4-Star alternative to Nicole.

The final slot in a Melt team can be filled by multiple options providing defensive or offensive support.

• Citlali is a 5-Star character who specializes in Melt teams. Citlali provides a shield, reduces Pyro resistance, and buffs Cryo DMG through the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
• Xilonen is a 5-Star support character who can heal, reduce resistances based on elements in your current party, and provides a DMG buff through the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
• Albedo can be used in the last slot and can be especially viable with his Witch's Eve Rite passive, helping him accumulate Lohen's Will to Win resource, and even equip the upcoming Heaven's Gift set if no other party member is currently using it.
• Emilie is a 5-Star off-field Dendro character who deals decent off-field damage and enables the Burning reaction, allowing for more consistent Pyro application.
• Prune at C6 can be a strong option, providing further ATK buffs, unlocking the Witch's Eve Rite passive, and equipping the Viridescent Venerer set.
• Other Hexerei characters such as Sucrose or Venti can be viable options as well, unlocking the Witch's Eve Rite passive, or equipping the Heaven's Gift set.

Freeze teams can work with Lohen; however, such teams are not often the strongest option for Lohen's personal DMG. Lohen in such a team archetype will often be directly competing against Skirk, who might outperform him in such cases. Nevertheless, Freeze teams can still be a viable option. To help meet Witch's Eve Rite requirements, Mona can be played as your Hydro character.
